Are you sure you’re not studio bakery looking at your comments lol. I’ve had loads of Bruce and Bertha. None of it tastes artificial and there’s no way the layers fall apart it’s as solid as a rock. Bit too rich but well worth the price tag. Not everyone’s going to like it tho but what you’ve described isn’t accurate. Unlike mouldy ones from Tesco that look like Stevie wonder put them together 🤷🏼‍♀️
Just a cake lover and baker. Specifically stayed later in Manchester to try it, brought it home and the whole family said the same. When slicing it, it just fell apart and the ganache either stuck to one side or the other. Tried both cold and warm and wouldn’t rush back. Also picked up the chocolate orange muffin which was moister but again very artificial orange flavour.
I expected it to be rich and decadent but was left lacking. I’ve tried to get one on numerous occasions and been stopped for various reasons so maybe I just hyped it up too much in my head?
I will say the service was amazing, apart from some random worker who came in and started moving about cookies and wiping her hands on her outside clothes!

Tried Buzzy Bees as well while on my recent trip and would 100% recommend

Has anyone tried Get Baked in Leeds? I follow on insta but have yet to try. The stuff is pricey but looks amazing. The owner has quite an offensive sense of humour which I personally don’t mind! Just wondered if anyone can confirm whether their bakes taste as good as they look?
Had a couple of Bruces, he is lovely. Bruce’s balls not great but the jar of Bruce is probably a 7/10. I love this sense of humour too 🤣

The chocolate was ok nothing special I just can justify spending £15 on 6 cookies

Can see a storm brewing between Get Bakeds army of fans and Studio Bakery due to their launch with Tesco. The influencer comparison videos have already started, I’d put my money on Get Baked sending a few of their cakes out to influencers for positive reviews
I do have to side with Get Baked on this one, seem a few posts from Studio Bakery saying they created the cake from their own memories (?!) not a imitation at all
Yet there’s a news article where the owner quotes she saw Get Baked go viral on TikTok and decided to do a version

it’s the dishonesty I don’t like (I mean is anyone on Instagram honest ?! 🤣)

The chocolate smiths is overpriced, I don’t care what anyone says it seriously isn’t worth the price tag in my opinion. It’s just average.
I have to agree. Since Joe wicks mentioned them, their business has exploded, prices have blown up too. As for her ADHD behaviour, she was always quirky before -but never rude like now. Too big for her boots.

I don’t understand why no one can fully cook a brownie anymore. I love a goeey brownie but the majority of these bakers now basically sell batter that’s been put in the oven for 20 mins

I’m wary of buying anything online since I got a box of various baked goods from cat food cakes and the brownies and blondies had such an overpowering taste of bicarb that I had to throw them away 😬 what a waste of £30 for something I could have made and it would have been edible at least.

And I supported Lilsparlour crowdfunder 2yrs ago and have never received the things I should have got as reward. I did try chasing it up a couple of times but have now just chalked it up to experience and stopped supporting similar things now.
Cat food cakes is awful her cakes are dryer then a nuns……

Who follows Sarah’s creative kitchen? I can’t stand the woman! Always moaning about small businesses can’t afford this and that whilst wearing Invisalign 🙄 she looks about 60 (I’m sure she’s a lot younger) and always has cold sores which when she’s dealing with food just gives me the ick 🤢 she just casually mentioned on her posts the other day how she was going to kill herself this time last year as business was that bad 😳 like it was normal to say. There’s just something about her. She just melts chocolate and puts bits on it and sells it again to me lol but makes out she invented it. I dunno she just grates on me
I think she actually has her own thread. It's not very active though. Used to be more active when all the Slimming World accounts were raving about her.

I've seen constant videos of her being so rude.

Edited to add her thread.
Apparently I started the thread haha 😂😂

I’ve heard there’s drama but I’m not actually sure on what the drama is? Any ideas?
From what I've gathered Nat lied and said she was going into partnership with a new owner. She's now said she had to lie to save her staffs job. The new owner had been hinting that Nat had forge the books or something along those lines. Every time the new owners live pops up on my fyp she's talking about Nat. Apparently Nat is throwing shade too on lives but I've not managed to catch them

How does GB get away with basically copying the branding of big companies and making it look like a collab? He's doing a new milky bar cake but copied milky bar branding, so people were commenting saying they're looking forward to the collab, only he's said it's not. I thought companies would have to be careful about making their product look like it's affiliated with/endorsed by a big brand?

I hate their packaging 😂 it’s so busy
and full of text, I’ve always avoided buying it when I’ve seen it in shops as was too much effort to read what flavour it was 🤣
Their flavours are weird too. They don’t go together and how do you eat a bar the chuncks are too big you can’t just have a nibble. I just don’t like her passive aggressive attitude. Of course she blames her adhd but she doesn’t have to behave like a twat. She said they were buying a new house then said they need a new wrapping machine…..hmm. Smell a rat I do
