I was the one that outed it on the MH thread, I saw the minky wax melt a month ago on instagram as i follow a regular customer from this vendor.
I've bought from avamay before and personally don't rate them at all. They have always smelt very waxy and there's absolutely no way she would be selling as many as she is if it wasn't for MH. I actually threw her angel wax melts in the bin as they made me and hubby feel sick, the smell was horrendous.
I'll stick to the smaller businesses from now on
not as overpriced, and so many to try!Plus i got very bored of her partner on his insta stories half naked like it was some weird mummy porn as he posed with his hoover with his face to one side all of the time

I haven’t tried the wax melts nor do I intend to. I get mine from home bargain 79p lovely scents and they are fab!Noseyrosie62

So I purchased Ava May wax melts at least 3 times a while back and I can’t say I was overly impressed. At the time perfume fragranced wax melts were new and kind of a novelty but since then Instagram has been flooded with wax melts company selling the same scents at a fraction of the price.
I have found a few companies that I use regularly that smell better , last longer and you get more for your money.
In my opinion Ava May has not raised to the challenge of there being more competitors on the market.
The companies I use are forever mixing it up bringing out new scents , putting offers on for their customers. Ava May just continue with the same scents , at the same (over priced )price !
Ava mays scent are not strong you can barely smell them in one room.
One of the companies I now use, you could literally smell outside my home !!! my neighbours commented on the lovely scent woofting from my home when the door was open lol

I’d just anyone who actually does still buy Ava May wax melts. Try a few different small companies because there is definitely better products on the market.
Really sorry but other companies who literally have one person running them offer better delivery services than Ava May

For a company that is about to turn over 10mil you would expect better delivery services tbh. Check out trust pilot ! Charging customers next day delivery but the turn around is still 10 days!

Her prices are in line with good wax vendors, but her product isn't. I know of people who have bought her wax then complained about no scent only to be ignored.

I think Hannah (Ava may aromas) is just as bad tbh, she obviously knows about the messages and she’s done nothing.
If it was me I’d apologise to Paige for my partners disgusting messages and he would be apologising too, I wouldn’t stand for any of it. I’d be trying to fix the mess, not just for the business side, just as a woman!
My husband would never go after a woman, not through messages nor face to face.
Besides if I felt it necessary, I would be defending myself not sitting back whilst my man does it!

i Brought her room spray and it was nice enough, but no way would I spend £12 plus postage again for it though.
I Unfollowed her because she drives me completely nuts on her stories, she makes a kind of smacking lips together noise after every sentence, Maybe I’m odd and no one else notices, but it drove me insane!

Damn... just watch some of a live from 18hrs ago and I've just noticed the lip smacking!!!! Grrrr.... she also said these sort of comments about her wax melts is threatening the jobs of her workers... now shouldn't she take this on board and ensure they are made to a high standard??
People were finding the diffuser for a lot less than she was charging. She probably bought them cheap and resold then to make a profit. Greedy cow.

What is the point of the charms? Just creating more landfill along with pointless ribbons. I would have had more respect for her if she had started a recycle return scheme for her packaging or made her products and packaging more environmentally friendly. I guess her customer base don’t care.

I make my own, just bicarbonate or soda crystals with a few drops of essential oils,mix lots & then I use a big sieve to shake it out,leave it 10/15 mins then hover,been doin it years I'm surprised mrs bitch hasn't done it yet...ohhh ffs I've just gave her my idea

Her Wax melts are way overpriced I feel.. if you want a good one try pepsmelts very cheap and last ages.. as for the air diffuser that was the biggest load of shit she hyped them up for ages and now not a word about them..probably be the same with the floor scents she’s promoting now I think it’s got completely out of hand at this point how many different smells do you need for one room
