Hi Autumn peops. I’m going through a really rough time. My child has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and my husband might have it too (genetic). Plus work is awful and my boss has been vile. I’m signed off sick at the moment. Going to try and find the energy today to cheer myself up and put out my wreath and autumnal decorations.
This is horrendous and so unfair. I hope this thread is just a glimmer of happiness for you x

Right well it seems I’m not waiting for mid-September, Autumn is slowly creeping in. As soon as the current handwash runs out this is going in 😂

It’s been sooooo much cooler this weekend and it’s actually enjoyable to be outside. Yaay.

We visited Batsford a good few years ago on Boxing Day when they used to give you mulled wine and mince pies, it was lovely!

Any tips on how not to get ill this autumn, I went out in the rain yesterday and already have a cold 😂
Take it from someone who used to have endless colds and nasty chest infections, daily vitamin D has been a life changer! I only get extremely rare mild colds these days. It has honestly changed my health incredibly.

Well, it's been a gloriously gloomy and cooler evening where I live today, definitely a good hint of autumn in the air!

Lady in White (1988) is one I missed off. It features Christmas as well but there is a heavy Halloween focus.

The TV series Moondial from the same year is all set on/around Halloween. It's on Youtube and so good, they don't make that kind of children's TV any more as far as I'm aware which is a big shame.
