Although thinking about it makes me sad (see above ) i'm still going to embrace autumn/winter, does anyone have recommendations for cosy vlogs?
How about Gemma Louise Miles? I normally rewatch hers every year in time for her new ones to come out.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope I’m not overstepping but perhaps you could still go shopping for some autumn bits when the time comes and maybe get something lovely in memory of your Mum that you know she would love then she can still be celebrating with you 🥰

I got a nice Vanilla Pumpkin candle from Aldi the other day. I’m waiting to burn it as it’s still so warm we have the windows open wide all day still

I'm wearing 'real' clothes today after months of dresses over the summer. Autumn has finally hit Spain 🤣

How do you guys stay cold free throughout the autumn and winter months? I recently read about putting garlic cloves in a jar and covering in honey, then waiting a few weeks and then they are edible straight from the jar. They are good for fending off colds during the colder months. There is also echinachea, too. Any tips?
I occasionally have those little turmeric shots .
Although, I feel like I either get a cold or I don't and nothing I do changes the odds .

Which one of the autumn months do you guys prefer? It seems that the general consensus is that October is the favourite in general across the Internet and offline, too.

I am also loving the darker nights, had my candles lit and it felt so cosy. My daughter decorated her bedroom yesterday with some nice little autumn bits from Poundland! Even her guinea pigs have pumpkin decorations in their enclosure ha ha . I am desperate to get my decor out but waiting till hubby goes away as then can enjoy it without him moaning. Anyone else looking forward to the new practical magic coming out?
The first one is one of my all time favorite movies, so yes. Although I'm getting a bit annoyed with all the influencer promotions everywhere you turn.

I was watching a video of someone who visited Leed castle recently during the Christmas period, and it was all moody and dark, with pretty lights everywhere and all festive charms. It then occurred to me - we're finally going into the cooler and what I consider the most magical time of the year. There's Halloween, Bonfire Night, fireworks, long evenings, and, of course, Christmas. I dunno, the thoughts of it make me feel all cosy and happy - especially after a summer of raving heat. The 'ber' months will feel like a welcome relief.
I can make Beef Stew, soup, hot chocolate and roast dinner again without feeling like I'm melting in the kitchen.
Anyone else getting this vibe and is with me on this?
I am with you and ready for it all, especially the cooler weather!

Pumpkin spice matcha this year maybe? I am not a coffee drinker 👀
Independent/ small chains seem to do every other weird and wonderful flavour of macha.
Surely they could put a a bit pumpkin spice syrup in

I've just ordered myself some pumpkin spice syrup to make drinks with at home.

Hocus Pocus (1993)
Practical Magic (1998)
You've Got Mail (1998)
The Scent of a Woman (1993)
Little Women (2019)
Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981)
Harry Potter (the first and third especially)
A Little Princess (1995)
Halloweentown (opinions vary on the sequels but I love the first one from 1998, so nostalgic)
The Good Witch (2008) (if you don't mind soppy Hallmark movies)
Knives Out (2019)

I could probably go on, it's one of my obsessions
I saw an Instagram post with film suggestion and all of yours were in it - monetise your knowledge 😄

The dog has been snoozing all morning while I’ve been working from home for a few hours so we’ve been sat on the sofa and it’s been so peaceful and cosy with the candle on. Catching up on Coronation Street now and making the most of the quiet!

We’re going on holiday to Wales tomorrow for our Birthdays and the weather actually looks like it’ll be nice. Going to get my nails done soon for our holidays 💅🏽🍂🏔🐶

Has anyone got any cosy plans today/this weekend? 🎃
I've got a English Heritage pass out of the paper, I might go somewhere with that . Have a walk in the grounds and take a picnic.

Never feel like you have to justify your Autumn purchases to us in this thread!! 😂🍁🍂

I am so excited for Autumn walks 😁 Autumn baking, mulled cider, all my candles and wax melts, slow cooker food and filling the house with the smell of roast dinners 😌
I’ve been spending my weekends baking, I’ve just got into it and love it, except I’m melting because it’s been so warm 🤣
