Went into TK Maxx yesterday evening. They have even more Halloween stuff out. It looks pretty decent as well.
How about Gemma Louise Miles? I normally rewatch hers every year in time for her new ones to come out.Although thinking about it makes me sad (see above) i'm still going to embrace autumn/winter, does anyone have recommendations for cosy vlogs?
Yes, West Berkshire. Is that the UK/England?
Omg. I am Peanuts obsessed. Thanka for the recommendation!amyyylit on instagram has great Halloween content already, she’s growing pumpkins in her Charlie Brown themed pumpkin patch, love it
It’s a lot of bakeware so I can use it all year round! My local b&m is already full of it, I know because I’ve bought loads![]()
I occasionally have those little turmeric shots .How do you guys stay cold free throughout the autumn and winter months? I recently read about putting garlic cloves in a jar and covering in honey, then waiting a few weeks and then they are edible straight from the jar. They are good for fending off colds during the colder months. There is also echinachea, too. Any tips?
It rained all morning here yesterday and the air is fresher. I was actually chilly in bed last night! We had more rain today.
The atmosphere is already feeling much better.
Me too, I'm not convinced i'm going to enjoy it!I'm nervous about the sequel. The trailer looks good but I'm still nervous.
The first one is one of my all time favorite movies, so yes. Although I'm getting a bit annoyed with all the influencer promotions everywhere you turn.I am also loving the darker nights, had my candles lit and it felt so cosy. My daughter decorated her bedroom yesterday with some nice little autumn bits from Poundland! Even her guinea pigs have pumpkin decorations in their enclosure ha ha . I am desperate to get my decor out but waiting till hubby goes away as then can enjoy it without him moaning. Anyone else looking forward to the new practical magic coming out?
I am with you and ready for it all, especially the cooler weather!I was watching a video of someone who visited Leed castle recently during the Christmas period, and it was all moody and dark, with pretty lights everywhere and all festive charms. It then occurred to me - we're finally going into the cooler and what I consider the most magical time of the year. There's Halloween, Bonfire Night, fireworks, long evenings, and, of course, Christmas. I dunno, the thoughts of it make me feel all cosy and happy - especially after a summer of raving heat. The 'ber' months will feel like a welcome relief.
I can make Beef Stew, soup, hot chocolate and roast dinner again without feeling like I'm melting in the kitchen.
Anyone else getting this vibe and is with me on this?
Independent/ small chains seem to do every other weird and wonderful flavour of macha.Pumpkin spice matcha this year maybe? I am not a coffee drinker![]()

The Scent of a Woman (1993)
Little Women (2019)
Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981)
Harry Potter (the first and third especially)
A Little Princess (1995)

I've got a English Heritage pass out of the paper, I might go somewhere with that . Have a walk in the grounds and take a picnic. The dog has been snoozing all morning while I’ve been working from home for a few hours so we’ve been sat on the sofa and it’s been so peaceful and cosy with the candle on. Catching up on Coronation Street now and making the most of the quiet!
We’re going on holiday to Wales tomorrow for our Birthdays and the weather actually looks like it’ll be nice. Going to get my nails done soon for our holidays
Has anyone got any cosy plans today/this weekend?![]()
