It feels like all the autumnal decorations have disappeared already and Halloween has taken over the shelf space. 🥲 I love me a bit of Halloween but I wanted more autumn decs for September and November!

I started my Gilmore Girls rewatch early this year. What is it about this show that makes it seem like the ultimate autumnal TV programme even though there is plenty of it set in other seasons? It must be the school focus and the oldly worldly vibes of Stars Hollow.

It is such comfort food TV even when I want to shake characters to pieces at times.

Confession - I have never watched Gilmore Girls. Think I’m going to start when the kids are back in school!

I’m halfway through Once Upon a Time which feels quite autumnal to me, possibly because of lots of misty forest scenes

We’ve finally had some rain!! It looks like we are due for some low 20’s weather this week, although I’ll be happier when it’s down to single figures!

It's been a lovely day or two although nights are still too warm.

I am praying the next heatwave will be the last one, though Septembers and even Octobers can be quite hot now at times. But I have never known weather like this in my life.

It's been a bit wintery today. I love it.

It was 32°c last Thursday, yesterday it barely made 16•c! I was rather excited to wear wear a jacket.

For anyone who struggles with dark mornings I invested in a Lumie Light during Covid, it's nice to wake up naturally with some light rather than a blaring alarm in the dark!

Which one of the autumn months do you guys prefer? It seems that the general consensus is that October is the favourite in general across the Internet and offline, too.

I have made a promise to myself to visit more areas of the UK (likely starting in England) during Autumn. Any recommendations of nice places to visit during the Autumn season?

Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds is lovely any time of year, but especially Autumn.

It’s very cloudy and dark here this morning

Thank god it’s a bit cooler in the UK, I would love it to stay low 20s so we could enjoy another month or so of summer without sweating off my proverbials

Have walked the dogs this morning while it’s still been cool and now going to get cosy for half an hour and read I love putting a live background on YouTube like a rainy cabin or log fire while I read and it’s so relaxing.

I was going to save all my Autumn watches until September but I do this with Christmas films and never get to watch everything so I’m starting early. On my list to watch:

Practical Magic (never seen this before!),
Rewatch Virgin River and watch the newest series for the first time,
Hocus Pocus 1&2
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Then I might give American Horror Story another watch nearer Halloween (only got to Season 3)

Got the gym soon and then taking my puppy for his jabs () so we’re getting a Starbucks after as a treat.

Some cinemas are releasing Practical Magic in the lead up to Practical Magic 2.. considering going!

The weather has bypassed autumn and is very wintry now. It was 6°c and drizzling. I was wearing my long puffer and a hat . I haven't got acclimatised to the cold yet .

I honestly cannot believe we are almost in October! I'm in Scotland and usually by now its started to get colder but nope, still very mild! I'm desperately wanting to wear all my jumpers and fleeces!

Check out Bearded Candle Makers, they have an etsy store but also proper website. They have a scent called Real Turf Fire which smells exactly like a bonfire. My fave from them is Midnight Mass which smells like church.
