Took advantage of the Tesco Yankee candle deal and got Ghoul Punch. I also got some wax melts that s really cosy.
It’s turned out really nice here today but I have been freezing in my office and it’s got me just wanting cosy vibes.

My only tip for not getting ill is to not bother with ginger shots - I started taking them last year and within a week I had the worst cold of my life that just kept coming back all winter won’t be bothering this year haha

I'm funny with autumnal scents. I do not like anything cinammon or pumpkin. I prefer woodsy and sandalwood type scents and with winter I like my house to smell like trees and cranberries.

I love scents like cinnamon and vanilla but sadly they can make me feel headachy so I agree with you about wanting more of the outdoorsy scents in winter.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope I’m not overstepping but perhaps you could still go shopping for some autumn bits when the time comes and maybe get something lovely in memory of your Mum that you know she would love then she can still be celebrating with you

Thank you, that’s a lovely idea, we loved a good candle so I’ll get one that can sit with her. She always decorated the house for each season, and it’s still decorated for autumn I don’t think my dad can bring himself to take it down

I’ve been watching autumn vlogs on YouTube, I literally type that in and there’s loads to choose from. I’ve been looking online at autumn decor and honestly can’t wait to decorate. My daughter and I are going to have an autumn day out this year including a seasonal coffee and lots of shopping.

We visited Batsford a good few years ago on Boxing Day when they used to give you mulled wine and mince pies, it was lovely!

I used to do this all the time as a child! They have an Elf trail for children too

Going to buy some autumn candles at the weekend when I get paid. It’s difficult though, I don’t feel ready for Christmas scents but the autumn ones always have cinnamon and spices anyway.

There is a beautiful cinnamon scented one in Next!
