I honestly cannot believe we are almost in October! I'm in Scotland and usually by now its started to get colder but nope, still very mild! I'm desperately wanting to wear all my jumpers and fleeces!

The downstairs dressing gown is out! Bought in Primark mens dept sale around 20 years ago for £3.00. Size small and very cosy.
My upstairs dressing gown from same place at the same time. Blue fleece and it looks the same as when I bought it. So fast fashion can last donkeys years.
Remember when onesies were all the rage and people were out shopping in them?

I’ve got the slow cooker out for the first time this year!! I’m making a slow cooker chicken roast dinner tonight with apple crumble and custard for after got some lovely red wine to go with it too, yes on a Tuesday but why not

I’m going to read my book for a while before I go to the gym and start dinner, going to make the most of the two weeks I have off before going back to work.

Can’t wait for it to get dark and put all my fairy lights and candles on and cuddle up with a cosy dinner, my hubby and our dog Love this time of year.

Hope everyone going through a tough time is taking care of themselves too

It is SO cold today, but gloriously sunny! Got two washing loads out drying.

I've been taking advantage of the last of the light-after-work nights and going for my post-work walk around the local forest. Looks like the weather will play ball for me this evening, too. I also can't believe it's so late in October. I stocked up on the Body Shop's Sugar Pumpkin shower gel and got the body mist online, I absolutely love the smell. I'm not usually a fan of perfume, and certainly not a sweet one, but this is so subtle and identical to the shower gel and moisturiser.

Hi Autumn peops. I’m going through a really rough time. My child has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and my husband might have it too (genetic). Plus work is awful and my boss has been vile. I’m signed off sick at the moment. Going to try and find the energy today to cheer myself up and put out my wreath and autumnal decorations.

This is horrendous and so unfair. I hope this thread is just a glimmer of happiness for you x

I’ve been watching autumn vlogs on YouTube, I literally type that in and there’s loads to choose from. I’ve been looking online at autumn decor and honestly can’t wait to decorate. My daughter and I are going to have an autumn day out this year including a seasonal coffee and lots of shopping.

The dog has been snoozing all morning while I’ve been working from home for a few hours so we’ve been sat on the sofa and it’s been so peaceful and cosy with the candle on. Catching up on Coronation Street now and making the most of the quiet!

We’re going on holiday to Wales tomorrow for our Birthdays and the weather actually looks like it’ll be nice. Going to get my nails done soon for our holidays

Has anyone got any cosy plans today/this weekend?

I've got a English Heritage pass out of the paper, I might go somewhere with that . Have a walk in the grounds and take a picnic.

I saw that in Sainsbury's. Is it any good?

I enjoyed it ,although it maybe a novelty. The flavour is dispersed through out, I find when the flavour is added with a syrup most of the drink tastes plain , and then there is a strong bit at the bottom.
