There is something special about October. Most of the time it's when it really starts to cool down and the colours are beautiful, the nights are dark.
I love Halloween but not as a commercialised day. I like it for the history and spooky vibes.

October is proper autumn, September is more about the anticipation. I actually feel like September is it's own micro season, there isn't another time like ir .
So happy it's getting darker and cooler. Still too hot for me (menopause) so still using fans. I do think it will be a warm September this year due to how long the previous Winter lasted.Glad to see the people moaning about the autumnal weather already on threads 
and yes,I probably will moan about the weather when it's still Winter conditions in Spring but 
.Some of us don't like being hot,deal with it. It is cosy,days are shorter,no screaming kids in and out my garden,can start getting out walking again,eat proper nutritional food and enjoy it,without sweating cooking it,and then not wanting to eat it.

It doesn’t feel like autumn yet to me, still too hot and humid (at least down south)

Very very rainy, chilly and wet, dark morning this morning and I love it! There’s still that sort of humid mugginess in the air though.
Yes! It was perfect autumnal weather here yesterday, until it gradually started to heat up during the day. By early afternoon it was too hot for my hoodie 
It's nowhere near Autumn weather here,still warm,and getting hotter over the next few days. A bit of rain and people are moaning,it's literally not rained for months now,we needed the rain,it rains all year round usually in the UK,it's not a suprise. The way people are acting it's like it's been torrential for weeks on end and freezing cold .It's funny we aren't allowed to moan about being to hot ,but as soon as there's a drop of rain and a grey sky it's the end of the world.
It was actually blustery today and I had to close the bathroom window, which is generally always open. I love it!
Yes we had some actual wind today instead of a stagnant dead air.
I'm most excited about Autumn because I don't have to deal with creepy neighbours taking an interest in my life!!!

Same. I’m bored to tears of sunshine and t shirts! I want cardigans and boots and rain.
Yeah I hate summer clothing,it's so boring.
Just looked at the forecast for my area here in the south, and it's going up again from today being 19c to 23c to 25c by this weekend and next Monday. Arrgghh, can it just come down by 10c please and I can start styling myself more. Haha.
It's beautiful to sit and watch the rain and wind on a day like this after the most dragged out, uncomfortable summer I can remember. I wouldn't even mind going out in it, I've got good seasonal wear. This weather is much more me than 30c+ heat for days and at time and this year even at night too.
It’s still too hot but it’s been raining all day here and I love it! This must be how the grass felt after the drought
