Does she have a community goal of making as many people as possible extremely uncomfortable by telling them about her dead dog and asking complete strangers 20 personal questions each? Jessica likes going on “community outings” because it means she gets to bring home lunch. Plain and simple.
My favorite is the video Val posted on how she wants others to react to Jessica in public (while she's asking them those 20 questions... Excuse me? I don't care for grocery shopping to begin with, let alone have some random person in my space asking random crap.
Obviously Val read over here on the weekend while lounging in her bed, watching movies and eating her hidden snacks.
I mentioned how Jessica should be out and about active in her community , the autism community spending time with peers...etc...
So of course Val has to address it. ( we see you Val)
As for the " bideo of the morning" how about allowing Jessica to brush her Dragon breath , shower BRUSH that dry grey mop she's sportting before shoving the camera in her face getting her to repeat her lines.??
So they are helping Marlow move...

Just got back from the Y. Why don’t they take Jess to a pool in a public place since she loves water so much? That would serve two purposes- exercise and community involvement.
But the Y wouldn't let her have the whole pool to herself and maybe not film there. There are alot of places they could bring her but that would involve val, hannah or marlow to participate in exercise, and they are too lazy and tired. Any dr would be telling hannah she needs exercise to get back into good shape and it would help her back and neck. But val knows best and tells hannah, she should lay around to stiffen up and maybe qualify for SSI.
Somebody needs to tell Cosmo and His Boy they really don’t want to get involved with the Brooks family if they know what’s good for them.

She said when caregivers go down the burnt out rabbit hole she gives them extra time off..hmm could this be why we hardly see Marlow? Jess has what’s called a comprehensive Georgia waiver, so it can be directed by Val. She’s such a bright light…
I just can't watch anymore of the cooking with Nathan video! First she tells the Aunt she is thirsty like a command. Apparently she is her slave too! And there sits Hannah clapping like a bleeping seal!!
Then the obsession over Keely and the phone call. Let's repeat it to her mother, than again to Nathan like she is so important and these phone calls are life and death!

The cooking with Nathan video is one of the best examples of how irritating Jess is everyday. Nothing can be accomplished because she is there obsessing, needing constant attention, no sense of reason, lacking any mental competency, and just plain annoying.
In the one-on-one with the other mom, Val said that the best part of Jess is the joy. If she is so joyous why do they ship her off on others and not attend family events. Val can spin it anyway she wants but Jess is the most unlikeable person. Because I'm nosey and bored, I looked up this waiver. One, Val claims they live in Tennessee so how does she qualify for this? (Added to Val's list of lies). Two, it states it's this waiver is to help people with disabilities achieve their full potential and achieve a greater level of independence. How is Marlow helping Jessica achieve this? By helping Val exploit her daughter by making videos? Picking up Hannah's prescriptions? Grocery shopping for Val? And the list goes on. Jessica does nothing independently. Care givers ( professional ones) dont burn out because of Jess...more because of Val and the rules SHE has in place.
No professional would go along with all the lies fed to Jessica....the inability to not correct rudeness, bad behaviours among other things.
That's why Val goes through workers so quick and now has to.rely on family , friends and her sons ex-girlfriend. No professionals at all.
Yes Jessica is feral ..has Zero social skills, has severe obsessions and can't shut up for 2 minutes...I'd pull my hair out in that house!
As a mom..to a nonverbal autistic child ... I, we, my entire family put in the WORK for years...to help her acclimate to the world...the environment , being in public, social cues, boundaries etc.... Years we taught her, corrected bad behaviours , saught out professionals to HELP her with coping skills and being able to interact with society!
Val didn't do anything to help Jessica ...all she's done is deny her a life where she has options, any form of coping skills, she's not able to function in public, she's wild...unruley..refuses to even brush her hair... She will never improve ...or be able to have any social interaction with the public unless it's cornering them to tell them about having to put Abby down...because it was time...2YEARS ago!!!
Again...there are ZERO professionals on Jessica's team .... Because of Val.
