There was a big NYE party that was on a boat or a warf (so technically outside) but it was a rager. No social distancing, no masks, everyone dancing with bodies up against each other. The Russians were there and most of their circle. Stories were posted by David the Medium (I think) and everyone was tagged. Celeb spell check (back in her prime) mentioned -‘ illegal NYE party but never expanding or said who was there. Thought that was interesting as there were a lot of receipts.

Literally. Every story on my feed is someone pushing their covid vaxx agenda. I’m pro vaxx but it makes me genuinely uncomfortable to have people shoving their opinions down my throat 24/7. Tbh I’m sick of the white women warrior mentally like voldy, abbey & clem. They are so righteous in their opinions and if you don’t completely agree with everything they say then you’re the worst. I think it’s completely rational to be hesitant to take the vaccine after what a bungle the roll out has been. There has been non-stop fear mongering from the media. I just don’t see how bullying people over social media about it is going to get us anywhere. Not how public schools work. If you live in the zone they must accept your child. Doesn’t matter when in the year you move to the area. Doesn’t matter if you own or buy.

I agree! The house was last sold in 2005. I counted 5 different floor coverings! Kitchen, living area, ensuite and family bathroom all have different floorings and then the carpet in the bedrooms makes it 5. Everything needs updating from what looks like a late 80s early 90s reno.
I'll take the high road and admit buying into the property market is a good start!

There's a Steiner school just 2km from their new home that's about $5,000 - $6,000 per year from prep to Year 9. I doubt she's paying less than that right now. Not sure Steiner would want the enrolment though!

I think this varies state to state. My kids are in private but we made the decision a week or so ago to pull them out and move them into the public school for next year. We are in a highly desirable school catchment and apparently those zoned get first offers (closed 13th august) then it opens to out of zone enrolments. As we missed the date we are now against the out of zone people for a place. I know it’s hard to get into private but I didn’t realise the cut off dates for public were so strict. I’m guessing Jessiika did similar. She’s the only one I still follow as it makes me feel like less of a bad mum. Totally intrigued you all know so much about the house. If I go hunting will I find?
