She has her own thread lol it’s all on there, screen shots etc. basically multiple go fund me pages and seems like she spent the money herself, same as her friend Kenita, threatened self harm when called out
I really admire her attitude. She’s taken responsibility for her health (lots of people just give up and hand over total responsibility to their healthcare provider) and I think mindset plays a huge role. I also wonder whether taking alternative approaches allow for new thinking and potentially new treatments for something so pervasive will hopefully make a difference down the track.What a sad story. Her friends have launched a GFM type thing for her today, but they say essentially that her cancer was caused by grief from her marriage break up she stored in her lungs, then it spread. It’s a bit wakadoodle and also way to blame the ex.
It’s very sad and she seems to have a wonderful mindset. I wonder sometimes about raising money for treatment for cancers that are almost unanimously considered noncurable. I know there are situations where the doctors get it wrong, but not too often. I guess as long as people are across the full story then it’s their money to part with.
I do not agree with unproven treatments or people being taken advantage of especially when they are so vulnerable.
I also don’t agree with people shitting on mainstream medicine when it is likely to be the treatments that prolong people’s lives and doesn’t promise them impossible solutions. Kate was open about being on targeted drugs which I fully believe would have helped rather than her IVs of circumin and whatnot.
