Hope they get bleeping rinsed. It's about time these celebs who have been put on a pedestal and made to think they are untouchable, are taken to task for their actions.

It wasn’t really done by amateurs though, it’s not like Travis was there building the stage & interviewing security himself. There are too many amateurs out there now whom think 'let's start a festival'.
The problem is they haven't got a clue how to run them properly - as we have seen with this example.
There have been a fair few examples of badly run festivals over the years, in which people have been seriously injured, or killed.
I was shocked to see it wasn;t done by some kind of amateurish company tbh, so many basic mistakes were madeIt wasn’t really done by amateurs though, it’s not like Travis was there building the stage & interviewing security himself.
Live Nation produced the festival, one of the largest music companies in the world. They specialise in all parts of organising a show from promotion, ticket sales, security, venues, hiring acts, merch, finding permits, funding.
They are in involved in most of the biggest shows and festivals so should know what they’re doing.
Yep they’ve paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in lawsuits due to people that have died or got injured at their shows. They’ve been connected to 200 deaths and 750 injuries at their concerts over the past 15 years.I was shocked to see it wasn;t done by some kind of amateurish company tbh, so many basic mistakes were made
this is terrifying, how the hell can they get away with this?!Yep they’ve paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in lawsuits due to people that have died or got injured at their shows. They’ve been connected to 200 deaths and 750 injuries at their concerts over the past 15 years.
They organised the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester that had a terrorist attack and the Las Vegas festival shooting (they were sued for the latter for not providing enough exits and having staff inadequately trained for emergencies).
You’d think they’d have the best security and safety plans going by now but they seem to continue to cut corners & keep their monopoly on the market regardless.
They've literally become too big to fail, they dominate the industry. They have a habit of buying out a lot of the bigger concert venues and then forcing artists to sign exclusivity deals so that they only play at Live Nation shows and venues which is why I think there are a lack of celebs speaking out against them. They organise all the big UK festivals - Reading, Leeds, Parklife.this is terrifying, how the hell can they get away with this?!
This is insane, I now want to check all the concerts I have booked for next year to see if they are organised by themThey've literally become too big to fail, they dominate the industry. Live Nation accused of "stifling competition" with huge control of UK music festivals
Some of the UK's leading independent music festivals have called for the competition watchdog to investigate the apparent dominance of Live Nation,www.nme.com
Here's a good article about all of the incidents. 89 killed at a concert shooting in Paris, stage collapse leading to 7 dead & 61 injured, employees having to undergo brain surgeries due to accidents, £101 million dollar payout due to a fall at their concert, 19 injured from a crowd surge, a broken leg due to another crowd surge, people falling over railings, stage structures falling & killing people, it's insane.
Promoter behind deadly Travis Scott gig has history of deaths, injuries at shows
But the promoter and its subsidiary, Live Nation Worldwide, have previously paid out hundreds of millions from lawsuits over tragedies at previous events in several countries since 2006.nypost.com
Prior to this i'd never heard of them & thought they were some small crappy company that was out of their depth but when I started looking in to them I was floored by how much they're involved with worldwide! They have so many subsidiary companies they're absolutely everywhere and the fact that they merged with Ticketmaster too makes them almost impossible to avoid! This is insane, I now want to check all the concerts I have booked for next year to see if they are organised by them

They were the organizer for her world tour which included this event & also appear to have some involvement in arranging security and safety at the show, ASM just manage the venue as far as I can tell, but I may be wrong.Live Nation we’re the promoter of the Ariana Grande concert, it’s was managed by ASM Global (then SMG) who operate Manchester arena
they just don't care at all do they, this is so weird. omg that’s a good point, Live Nation have such a monopoly on live music gigs it would be impossible for any sort of boycott to happen, or to take any meaningful effect.they just don't care at all do they, this is so weird. In the article I read, it said it wouldn't have affected the claim, but I'm still glad they turned it down. It also said they Scott wanted to go and see them personally but they refused that too.Really glad the family rejected his offer to pay for the funeral. Because accepting his offer could somehow affect their claim against him (if they're sue him also). Plus what a cheap way of saying 'sorry'...
