Whoa I didn’t know Lily was involved in that. I remember Mary’s video explaining and she hadn’t been racist, I believe she said she had a family member in the military and she wanted to keep her channel non political, but I could be mistaken.
I remember it vaguely, I think all the ASMRtists were doing statements or doing the blackout thing for BLM and Karuna just rounded on Mary for not doing it and instigated a pile-on. Really unnecessary, out of order bullying basically. But that's KS all over.

Has itzblitzzz split from her husband/partner? She’s moved back to her parents with her kid & there’s no mention of him at all

She mentioned something about wanting her daughter to have both parents and for me it seemed like some kind of joint custody thing, wasn't paying that much attention

In her video about leaving LA for a while she said she was staying there for a while and Nick was coming with them for the first week

I'm interested to see which ASMRtists people are getting into and which ones people are going off!

For me, at the moment I'm really into Be Brave Be You, Victoria Sprigg, ASMR Beauty (she seems like the loveliest person!) and Mad P ASMR.

I've really gone off Scottish Murmurs and Creative Calm - I don't understand why they feel the need to have their b00bs popping out in every single video.

It's very weird. I was trying to work it out too.
someone posted about itsblitzzz on the la snark reddit, it got a lot of replies agreeing how crappy she is and how weird their relationship is. I think someone wrote that she said she didn't want to raise their baby in la... They live in a multi million dollar home in Pasadena from the looks of it. Their relationship seems empty as hell, I can't imagine taking a baby away from their father for long periods of time just because you dont like LA all of a sudden. aren't those things you think of before you buy a huge house and start getting pregnant?

I stopped watching Latte for the same reasons but watched her recent one because I like derma rolling sounds and was disappointed to see she’s started with the tongue clicks like everyone else.

I totally get why some people have gone off her, if you're not a fan of medical role plays then there's not much for you! But I loved her midwife series.
I used to (and to some extent still do) love BBBY's content. I have to admit though that the continuous medical roleplays are boring me as they aren't my thing (I do acknowledge the makeup ones she has done recently however). I loved her old post office, check in, air hostess role-plays but I am wearing them thin now :(

Please Nicola - more of them!

Do you have a link to the reddit thread? All of her relationships seem very superficial , remember that period when she did loads of asmr and it was all just models that have never been seen again, or some famous musicians she just casually had knowing her fans would be amazed about it

Y'all are truly my people because lord god, the tongue clicking, it's UBIQUITOUS now.

I saw the funniest damn comment on one of my favorite creators' videos because someone requested a single video (in the artist's regular style, no less) with no talking and no tongue clicking. Here, I'll share it with you.

whiny dude in Alysaa's comments said:
While I respect requests, the tongue clicking is really all that does it for me. I've been so happy to come across someone who uses it so often, and if you begin to not use it anymore well... I'm afraid these videos won't hold the effect on me anymore. Much as I love any ASMRtists and appreciate what they do, the content is so... similar now. Every artist does a zillion different things. I think if there were specific ASMRtists who dedicated themselves to specific types of content, they'd have a more dedicated viewership and fan base. This is just me speaking my mind really, whether it's taken to heart or not it's nothing more than my own preference.
Honestly, I would be overjoyed if I were able to see someone take constructive critique about their viewers wanting less mouth sounds/tongue stuff, or a person trying to have a discussion on how they're not wild about having everything turn into whispered storytime, whisper rambles or whisper vlogs without some genius butting in about how tHe AsMr CoMmUnItY sTaRtEd OfF aS tHe WhIsPeR cOmMuNiTy.

I'm not sure if I know what you mean by the tongue clicking (though I'm sure I'd recognise it if I heard it because I watch way more ASMR than I should!) but something I've noticed becoming really popular is 'TikTok ASMR' for lack of a better term. Usually really fast paced with aggressive tapping on things accompanied by what I can only describe as a stage whisper. It's so chaotic, unrelaxing and untingly, and it's everywhere.

The trend that really irks me is labelling something as unintentional ASMR when it really isn't... also I don't really understand when people call it 'intentional unintentional ASMR' surely that's just normal ASMR?!

Yessssss! I agree with all of you, I’ve been saying this from last few months about Latte, her constant gulping, licking lips/smacking lips and tongue clicks make it so so hard to watch her. I even left a comment in a few of her videos pointing it out hoping she would read and take it on board… obviously not! And very repetitive content too!
