I have said before that I find MinxLaura123 a bit cringey and slightly immature at times, but who the hell would be so cruel and call her weird 
That's just not on. I think she's actually very attractive. Gorgeous skin, nice eyes, beautiful smile. I'd love to see her wear her hair up more, she has a nice face shape and wearing her hair pulled back would definitely accentuate that.
It's just so low for people to be calling her weird. I feel heartbroken for her. She is one of my all time fave artists and I hope this vile trolling doesn't make her stop sharing content

Nick must be making a ton of money. He also has this just completely blank/dead look in his eyes lol I know he's camera shy but its just funny. I think Julia came off as an extremely self centered, insecure & lost woman and hopefully this grounds her.
Agreed! I didn't watch her newest vlog with the new house, is it the one she just bought a few months ago, or another? I feel like they're significantly more well off than she would have us believe. Sidenote, and this is so incredibly petty of me but her new love of dairy is so off-putting and gross to me, when did she make such a 180 from being mostly plant-based to just guzzling down whole milk and eating pork bacon everyday?
I completely agree with you, but have to say, I've NEVER seen any comments calling her weird etc, a few other people had also commented they'd never seen comments like that and asked her to either name and shame or share the messages she received, usually she ignores those requests. The only thing I can think is whoever it is, direct messages her. I do have a concern about Laura though and some of the claims she makes, probably a month ago she posted on all her social media platforms that her dad had' had a go at her', she stated he had told her she needs to grow up, stop wasting money on rubbish, stop being lazy and stop looking for attention. I think as an Asmr artist, she is good, must admit I don't follow her vlogging channel, I find the endless shopping hauls repetitive, her grocery shopping vlogs look more like she's shopping for children who are fussy water, rather than herself Nathan and her mum. Sometimes it comes across as if she puts herself and her looks down, rather than other people. From my professional experience I wonder if the insults she claims to receive are actually her own thoughts and feelings about herself, she needs people to complement and praise her, tell her she's beautiful. She openly admits to her mental health struggles, but I do wonder if low self esteem contributes to the posts about negativity. I think her parents have very much infantalised her and still treat her like a young child dispite her being in her mid 40s, I don't think she has many real life friends, so the majority of time is spent with her parents and Nathan, even he isn't as involved with her channel as much as he used to be. Laura is definitely harmless and deserves to be happy, I wish those close to her would help her rather than treating her like a child. Sometimes when someone is so vulnerable, social media isn't the best place. Excellent post @viewtube. You've articulated many things about her that I have picked up on too, re her parents treating her like a child, and apparent lack of friends. Their diet has always sort of amused me to be honest! Says she's a vegetarian but appears to live on packaged potato items - where's all the lovely, fresh rainbow coloured vegetables and salad ingredients lol (from what I've seen which admittedly isn't much because the vlogs bore me - I'm all about the ASMR). You're right though, I haven't actually seen any nasty comments on her videos. I didn't see the post where she says her Dad had a go at her. If he did, sounds like he told her some truths that were uncomfortable to hear. She'd be much better off talking it over with a mental health professional than her viewers/ followers 
I have never seen any negative comments toward Laura either and I watch her live streams and her videos. I’ve only seen positive comments and people reassuring her. I think Viewtube made a good point about social media not being the best place for someone so vulnerable and that could apply for a few ASMRtists. And for many instead of seeking therapy or help, they use social media in its place to deal with their issues whether real or in their head. They rely on praise from their peers to cope. I am glad Laura stopped posting videos every single day. I’m sure that wasn’t helping her mental health either.
All very well said. I haven't watched Laura's ASMR in a while but I remember that being a pattern that made me feel uncomfortable. It makes me sad because you know she's had some like long issues with self confidence and you just want her to see herself as we the viewers do.
A lot of asmrtists do this actually, and I feel like they've almost learned from each other that this is a way to get attention. To the point where some seem to make up issues, or bring up something from the past out of no where if they have nothing else to say. (most are very sincere though I'm sure)

I have worked with many patients who were similar to Laura, she comes across as a very sweet natured person, so it's quite sad. I think her sad thinks the tough love approach is the way, but it has quite a bad affect on her selfesteem and confidence.Excellent post @viewtube. I think you make a good point about some seem to have followed others because they see the attention.

Sorry to go back to Minx Laura123 again, but I get quite frustrated with her attention seeking titles and posts. This one was 'you probably WON'T WATCH this ASMR VIDEO. but I MADE IT ANYWAY!' (this was exactly how she wrote it) to me comes across as quite passive aggressive,I think most people watch ASMR to relax not deal with the creators passive aggressive issues towards people who allegedly post nasty comments(dispite no one ever seeing them and her ignoring people telling her to turn off comments). The only reason I still watch Laura is because I do find her ASMR content very relaxing, she mostly comes across as a sweet person, but occasionally she posts on various social media platforms about people posting nasty comments (no one has seen this, it's only what she says) or even accusing her own dad of bullying and upsetting her. I've mentioned this before, I get the feeling she wants constant adoration and praise, she feels if people don't constantly tell her how wonderful she is, she sees it as they 'dislike her'. For a woman in her mid 40s she's very child like and appears to have MANY issues, possibly stemming from being bullied as a child, her whole life appears to have revolved around constantly being with her mum and dad who are divorced and grandparents as a child, never any mention of real life friends, just people online. Don't get me wrong I know online friendships can be strong, but she doesn't even talk about childhood friends, it always revolved around grand parents and parents. Even now she and her fiancee live with her mum, her dad is still actively involved in her life dispite her frequently accusing him of upsetting her. She tends to overshare on some family business, discussing her parents separation and divorce as her dad ran off with her mums best friend. In the past she posted videos of really uncomfortable get togethers with her, Nathan, mum, dad and his girlfriend.
I suppose my issue is, she has her ASMR channel and her vlogging channel,I wish she'd keep the drama for the vlogging channel and keep the ASMR just for that content. We all have enough of our own dramas to deal with, without logging into relax with ASMR, only to find passive aggressive and attention seeking content

Completely agree. If it wasn't for the fact that she really is skilled at providing good asmr, I would have unsubbed long ago due to the attention seeking behaviour.
Although generally sweet, she is quite egotistical, which might be the result of having been an only child with all the focus on her. In some roleplays she says the cringiest things, along the lines of "you look beautiful in that makeup. Oh, you think I'm beautiful? Oh you're too sweet, thank you." Just little throwaway lines but they always make me kind of laugh because her need for validation is so great that she even provides it to herself from the perspective of the imaginary roleplay client.
I've noticed that Nathan appears to be a lot less involved than he used to be, he was quite good with ASMR I always enjoyed their pamper videos they did together
Yeah he seems to have taken a real step back from appearing in videos. I always enjoyed his laidback sense of humour in their scratchie videos.
