Love asmr! Gentle whispering and whispers red are the only ones I've found that work for me and I can fall asleep to. So soothing. But I don't like spraying and annoys me when in the middle of a relaxing hair brushing video they will start spraying the hair , I find it so distracting

I really like Reiki with Anna, I find her voice really calming

I love asmr. Some days I can’t sleep without it (currently 2.47am and I will be loading YouTube so I can actually sleep!) asmr is so selective. I don’t like nail tapping/dragging or eating. Or saliva thick words. - too hard to explain what I mean lol

I think who you like as an ASMRtist is highly dependent upon what triggers you enjoy.

ASMR Planet (a lot of makeup but I just love her tapping and whisper)
Clareee ASMR
Chiara ASMR (she records in Italian mostly, her most famous videos are in English but I just love so many of hers you don't need to understand)
Shili TV (she's Chinese (has subs) and visits all sorts of spa's and massage places, I like them but some people might skip certain videos of hers)
Alfredo Uno (Ecuadorian ladies who do massages on themselves and others, I really like it, sometimes they can be a bit loud but they are a certain kind of ASMR I like)

MinxLaura123 was one of first ASMRtists that I got into but it feels like the quality of ASMR videos has gone up and up and up and she’s just churning out the same half arsed low quality crap.

Ugh SO glad this is being said here, I can't stand the woman after checking out her socials. She bought the Audi with her YT money, definitely not enough sponsors for a free gifted nor any Audi ads on her vids.

I think it's pretty pathetic these people are asking us for gifts when they're making good enough youtube coin to fuck around in their own houses for an hour. I checked out Nicola's - she's got a $5000 Chanel bag on there, what planet does she live on? Pushing out this culture that followers should gift their sponsorship laden/money-earning channels is the biggest scam. Don't do it, spend it on yourself or your loved ones.

She's a big fan of comparing it to a "normal" job. (think she'd die of shock and fibromyalgia if she ever went in to a 9-5 office) Fine, go ahead. But have some real expectation of what a normal work day looks like for the average person and take stock. I'd be a tad floored if I went to pay for petrol and the person working there asked me for a new Ipad. (also on the list).

She is on the autism spectrum and has spoken about that before but it isn't an excuse to be rude to others, by any means. Her desperation for gifts, followers, views seems to be getting worse and I find the vids so boring now.

Oh God, I needed that off my chest. Now to go smoke a jazz cigarette and unwind.

Did anyone watch Mitzy Whispers? She used to be Vic Quinn way way back. Don't think life was kind to her and then she was in a car accident recently and could lose sight in one eye and an arm. But her lo-fi asmr is just perfect.

Omg I just went to her page and saw the pictures she posted. That's so terrible!

I haven't listened to Lily Whispers in a really long time but I just realized all of her videos are gone too except for a couple that someone reuploaded and that's really sad too. Does anyone know what happened to make her delete everything?

She obviously thinks her overpriced herbal remedies can cure/prevent everything. As someone with nearly 30 yrs experience as a health care professional, I see people like her as dangerous. She has a big audience and little to no knowledge. She's very rigid in her ideas and really doesn't acknowledge that everyone is different and what is appropriate for one person may not be right for someone else.

yeah I totally agree, I am glad I don't work in healthcare, all these uneducated idiots acting as if they know better would drive me mad! I was surprised she had the vaccine tbh

I’ve sat through some of her lives and commented on her channel on a number of videos and I’ve never seen a troll. Not saying she doesn’t get any but I don’t think it’s as intense as she says.

Same here, I've never seen any hate on her lives or posted in comments. People have previously suggested turning off chat, her response was 'I shouldn't have to'. For a woman in her 40s she's extremely childish. Her own father has called her out on her behaviour, she posted about it, but clearly didn't realise her post only confirmed what her dad was saying. I know her and Nathan are together but their wedding was planned for a couple of yrs ago, suddenly all mentions stopped she took a 6 month break from social media. It must get tiring dealing with the constant need for attention. When Nathan and her mum had covid, she posted, but the wording was so bizzare, more a sympathy post for herself. Laura's ASMR is first class, if it wasn't for that I'd stop watching, because the constant attention seeking becomes tiresome.

She was trafficked into the US from Russia and that's how she ended up living there in the first place. She has talked about this in old videos. She is clearly very vulnerable and easily manipulated.

@LoveHashira I saw in her comments that she is from the East coast of the States, but has lived in the UK for the last 10 years, if I recall correctly. Some people thought she might have been Australian.

HunnibeeASMR’s videos are always recommended to me on Youtube so occasionally I’ll watch a bit out of curiosity but god they make me feel sick, the amount of sugar she eats Can’t imagine why someone would enjoy her videos, they stress me out thinking what all that crap is doing to her body and teeth

She said somewhere that a lot of the things she makes and eats are actually without sugar? I'll try to find the video about it.

I have wanted to air my grievances about ASMR to someone for so long but I don't know of anyone else that looks at it and some of my friends have looked at me a little crazy when I have tried to talk about it.

But it only dawned on me today that tattle is where I need to be for this

So this comment is the first I saw and exactly one of the things I have issue with. Has anyone come across "It's Hannah"? some of her videos are actually good for the asmr but my god you could not actually look at them because this wan must have youtube and only fans mixed up

I'm not a prude by any means but this is just not what I want to see when I'm looking for asmr.

I remember this woman, I got a 'swingers' vibe from her. It was her home account I followed but found her quite seedy. There's nothing wrong with swinging if that's what you're into, but don't try and pass your over sexualised behaviour off as ASMR or a household vlogging channel, it devalues the genuine accounts. But if you look it's pervy old men commenting on her videos
