I agree completely, I’m currently pregnant and do not expect anyone to be checking up on me. She’s so codependent and needy. She gives me the ick.

She is so co-dependent it's scary. I could understand friends/family checking in as a courtesy, like 'how are you feeling' etc. but I wouldn't EXPECT it from anyone. Unless there were a reason, like you lived alone/lived remote/had a high risk pregnancy/medical issues etc. But like you are a grown adult, you do not need your friends to check up on you.
