It was interesting to read on here that the reason for the overuse of orange/orange heart is because it’s the colour/symbol for childhood cancer……it’s clearly something else for them now as they don’t seem to be talking about cancer at all now or raising awareness or offering support for other families.
Interesting that THENURSEMUM has jumped right on the emoji heart/colour association. She’s constantly used a rainbow of hearts since J passed away. Something that was never even used or mentioned previously but is now constantly hashtaged and referenced and being used as a money spinner. Tote bags and prints incoming. It’s not enough to have a page, profile, following, GOFUNDME you also need an image for the ‘grief branding’.

It is like it’s all being made into a brand, I really wish they had worked alongside an already established charity and ploughed the money into that

I would say it is a brand, hence the phrase; hence all the photos etc

I personally never give to these type of online fund raising, because very often it just seems to all disappear into a huge black hole. And without sounding unkind, the NHS don't tend to withdraw treatment/go onto palliative care without having exhausted all opportunities. And the treatment options that become the miracle cure are usually private hospitals using experimental treatments that someone found via Google, and not through a medical professional. Several high profile cases in the last 5 years have fund raised to the tune of millions of £s but nothing has ever been made public about where that money went.........

I also need to word this carefully as not to cause offence...........I lost my son many years ago, and his ashes were scattered in the childrens area of the cemetery. I found visiting there a huge comfort in the early days, but we ended up having his memorial stone removed as some later additions seemed to attract large family gatherings like the ones mentioned. Graves appeared that were covered in tacky memorials, and it all seemed to be a bit competitive as to who could cram the most objects onto the plot. I wanted to scream that my son was trying to rest in peace, not be blasted out by loud music and people stomping around over other graves. It just all seemed so disrespectful.
The nhs does not have access to all treatments & people deserve the right to exhaust all options if they can

Because he clearly loves the limelight and a more established charity would be a better way to ensure the money goes to actually increasing research etc. He is now famous for his child dying (I had never heard of him before, as other posters have said too)…. And that fame only seems to be growing. There is something very odd and off about it.

And if this sounds heartless so be it, but having a party at a cemetery is bleeping disgraceful and lacks any consideration to the other graves and the families who have lost. If you really have to be that much of a twit, at least keep it private, but no, these attention seekers can’t can they.
you are assuming existing charities are better, they also have CEOS that take huge salaries. This charity they are creating could do amazing things it hasn’t even started yet and you are already stating money could be better used elsewhere. I’m sure no one will be at motivated as a grieving parent. Even if you don’t like him personally he clearly loved his daughter

The person that suggested this (or possibly it was Saf herself)…. Clearly she likes the idea or wouldn’t have posted it. I hope they do great things with the foundation but they are certainly taking every opportunity to up their celebrity status with it. And duck off with the beggy posts, and this is all celebs and influencers, do you think we are all thick as tit when you say ‘does anyone know of anywhere that does ice skating/ flooring/ catering/ cushion covers’ - whatever this weeks need is. We know you want freebies rather than suggestions, otherwise you would have used google!

This is what I meant when I said people got way to invested all them pages with that poor baby’s images all screen shots of stories and things for sale it’s not right

And people are still making money out of her. I’ve looked at some stories on some of the pages and they are constantly tagging photos saying our angel or our strong baby girl. Ffs she wasn’t your child just stop the obsession and money making enough is enough
WTF 😦

I do find it odd on my insta explore sometimes I’ll see a picture of Azaylia from a random account like the ones just mentioned but I’ll always see Saf has liked the post so she obviously has no problem with it

It’s just plain weird that people are making money out of a child who’s passed away and post things as if she’s their own, the obsession is way to much

I set up one of the previous rave threads after the first one get shut down over arguments about donations. The second one ended up getting shut down too as people were in disagreement about a lot of things.

I absolutely was enthralled by baby Azaylia she really touched my heart. I found the last couple of weeks of her life so upsetting and I shed tears for her more than once it was so so sad to see her fade away. I did think at times that they should stop posting and just cherish their last few days together without phones in hand.

My problems with their behaviour started while she was still in hospital receiving treatment. Saf would ask for ‘recommendations’ for new trainers, takeaways, air beds e.t.c and it has really saddened me to see her seem to go down the influencer route now. I thought she had more integrity than that. I also really dislike how she put a question box up mere days after Azaylia died asking if people wanted to see how she was coping with her grief!!!! WTF and it really angers me that so many people must have said yes. Her grief for her baby is not something that people should feel entitled to witness.

I agree with many PP’s who say Ash seems to be all about himself and his journey. I hate myself for saying it but I feel like he viewed Azaylia as a mini celebrity and welcomed all the fame and adoration that her journey brought. Making the funeral a public affair was distasteful, the photos of him walking the streets holding an umbrella while Saf was trying to reach out for some contact really upset me. She needed support and affection and I don’t think the public deserved to be prioritised in their babies last journey. She was already exposed enough in her short little lifetime. He posts lots of tit for attention now like he did before Azaylia got sick and it’s made me lose a lot of respect for him.

I think what her mother has done is wrong, I get that it must hurt her to be frozen out and for Ashley’s family to be praised constantly but she needs to put her daughters loss first.

As for all the grief porn freaks who have set up tribute pages for a baby they didn’t know and use those pages for attention, they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Weirdos is all they are you even see them updating captions saying (Saff liked, Vicky commented e.t.c) Imagine the highlight of your day being a grieving mother has liked a photo of her dead child that you posted for clout. 😡

Imagine selling bits of items in memory of someone else's dead child, to profit from and keeping all proceeds to yourself. I get that we all have mouths to feed and bills to pay but I believe there is a special place in hell for people that profit from the dead!

I completely agree with this, I got kicked off the group before it was shut down saying how weird it was and people have her named tattooed, I would be fuming if a random person had my child’s name on them. I’m sorry to sound like a witch but if Ashley Cain wasn’t her dad half these people wouldn’t be bothered about her dying like they ain’t the other 1000s of children dying of cancer daily. In my opinion people have just jumped on the clout, she’s gonna be another Charlie Guard, Alfie etc. Soon unfortunately another child will come along and Azaliya will just be another child who’s passed on the list

So he’s just sent his flashy bmw off to a new home but didn’t he say a few months ago he’s got the shitiest car on the forecourt 💁🏼 Make it make sense
He still went to a car dealer and asked him to find something reasonable. He didn’t go to a local garage and ask for something for a grand for example. Just like you could go to Gucci and ask for a cheap bag knowing it will still be pricey when you could have went to Primark.
