Each to their own and god only know how people react when they are faced with such heartbreak but the way they have dealt with this, in my opinion, has been tasteless, tacky and exploitative.
filming every single second of that poorly child’s life. Sticking a camera phone in her face even when she has her hand over her eyes, with no fight left. Uploading pictures of them holding her after she passed. It’s just very strange behaviour.
The parents won’t stay together.
There, I said it.

Ok, so i've said it a few times but I lost my son at the end of last year.
His funeral took place in January and we had 30 people there (including us) then myself and my husband went back to my parents where we sat for the afternoon.
A few months later (when restrictions were still in place) this lot had their funeral and this absolute p*sstake happened.
There was no social distancing in the slightest. They had a PARTY for crying out loud.

The only photos I took on that day were of my babies coffin in the ground covered in roses and his funeral flowers.
It is so disrespectful of them to people like me AND to Azaylia to turn her day into a spectacle.
I don't understand how anyone can take photos like they did, dance like they did or drink like they did on that day.

This is a controversial opinion, but I don't believe that grief - however severe - gives anyone a carte blanche to act how they please. We are still members of a society, and no single person deserves the right to damage public space, or make money fraudulently from others.

When my partner died, people almost encouraged me to go out and get wasted and cause trouble, because apparently I "deserved" to do this, since my whole life had been taken away from me.

No. Sorry. I didn't "deserve" to do that at all. I was still a human being living alongside others. My grief didn't entitle me to anything.

Ashley looks a broken man, poor guy. Saf has hardly said a word, just sitting there nodding and bouncing away sitting on the sofa.
I think the reason she never said a word was because she was trying to hold herself together because if she spoke out she would crumble. You can see just from looking at her that she is a broken woman. She carried her beautiful baby girl for 9 months and then watched her die slowly for the 8 months she was alive. I wouldn’t be able to speak on live tv about that experience if it was me. I think the nodding and bouncing was nerves! If you follow her you’d already know she is riddled with anxiety. I think she’s a remarkable person, they both are.

I just hope for Saf’s sake she doesn’t see this page. If she’s as fragile as you all think she is then reading this will definitely do her more harm than good 😔. She probably has enough going on and could do with a bit of kindness and compassion.
but no one has been mean? Saying someone needs support and that their actions could impact someone else isn’t wrong.
Maybe seeing it would give them a little perspective

I’ve thought for a while that they aren’t together. They never seem to comfort each in a loving way.
Also I would be horrified if my loved ones were also laid to rest in that cemetery with the party going on. Not at all appropriate.
From her stories saf tries to get his attention and he seems to just blank her, also I’m not sure what went on with her mother but she posts some really strange things on her IG, I know they wanted to celebrate Azalyias birthday and totally understand that but that was a full on party in cemetery in a residential area, it was inappropriate and selfish, her resting place is getting very OTT my friend had a few teddies removed from her childs resting place so I’m not sure how this has been allowed. I just hope soon they take time out as saf mentions many times she’s got anxiety I just hope they both don’t crash and burn, they both need to be supporting each other

I see he’s just put up a post as though it’s just him & his brother there, no mention of Saf being there having driven them, or her brother travelling with them, putting in the same hard work & dedication. All about him; the disrespect is astonishing & I don’t know how she stands it. It’s like he allows her out for the breakfast show because a united front with the baby’s mum makes him more palatable/bookable for daytime TV, but for the gram he’s just preening & posing & pretending she doesn’t exist! The way he blanked her when she tried to include him on her live, I just find it shocking the contempt he treats her with!

His family are just as fame hungry as him. They go to that poor childs graveside simply for a photo opportunity, dressed up to the nines, straight onto insta stories pouting & preening 🤬Graveside visits are a time for peace, reflection & prayer. These clowns make me sick, turning a heartbreaking tragedy into a look at me moment & for what? A blue tick, making a few hundred quid through sponsored ads? Him & his family are everything that’s wrong with the world today & honestly, the local council needs to put an end to this disgraceful spectacle. If they truly cared about that baby they would be grieving in private, end of.

I never normally say anything here, however I feel so strong about this subject.
Their world during Azaylias life was behind a camera, it’s all they know/knew and they can’t switch off, even in their grief. Social media has so much to answer for. Sad times.

A mother unsupported by the father of her baby. I can’t unsee it! I hope Saff feels strong very very soon x

I agree with so much & i could be repeating what some of you have said already, but i have to get this off my chest! I didnt see the live, but i saw safs stories & my God its hard to watch at this stage how ash treats her its horrible 😢 The body language says it all! The distance, the face on him when he looks at her/camera, never any affection or love shown. I know hes broken aswel as saf, but its obvious she loves him & would do anything for him. Shes showing up supporting all he does & she talks about him- which is normal in a relationship- but him?! He only mentions saf if its beneficial to him or the charity etc... He never even hugs her or smiles, gives her a kiss NOTHING 💔 its heartbreaking to see. He needs to remember- saf carried, gave birth to Azaylia, shes her mother & his partner for years! SHE should be the most important thing in his life & his priority! Its just so uncomfortable to see the poor girl being treated like dirt 🥺 i know that sounds harsh but its blatantly obvious. Like could u imagine if ash came behind saf & gave her a hug, kiss & smiled at her wen she was filming? It would make her day! For all the effort he puts into sports etc how much effort would it take to make saf feel loved & happy? A minute outa ur day! And she deserves it so much & she needs it from him! I hate the beggy shit but God love her, all she wants is him to show her love & affection which she deserves. And look how loving he was with Azaylia-rightly so, but why wont he love her amazing mother like that? He should be strong for SAF & support & help her, not just the charity.

I don’t know why I have looked again at this thread because I disagree with so much of it. I lost my son 6 years ago and for months, years even afterwards I would look for signs and reasons to try and understand why I was still alive and he wasn’t. Even though I knew I could never understand because they was no reason. Wishing I was dead too and losing my identity as his mum that had consumed my being for so long. Maybe you don’t agree with the way they are grieving so then don’t watch and don’t comment out of faux concern. Childhood cancer is messy, there is blood, vomit and it is not dignified, that is the reality of it. The charity is there way of trying to find purpose, to find a reason to keep living in a world that makes no fucking sense. In time they may have other purposes too but the criticism on what I see is two broken parents trying to get through a tragedy is cruel.

It's grand having an opinion but ppl throwing out misleading information , speculation etc on this thread . You cant just throw out a crazy remark with no basis and then say well that's my opinion when you have been acting like it's fact
It’s fact that I think Ashley is a narcissistic twat and fact that I think showing your dead baby on Instagram is one of the grimmest things any celeb has ever done. It’s also fact that every time the weather changes they declare it a sign from Azaylia. Who did they think was controlling the weather before she died?

I feel very uncomfortable with the party at the cemetery the same with whenever they go to see her they always film it, I know everyone copes in there own way but I just find something so off with filming in a cemetery in general. It seems that social media is how they both not only grieve but live as even when Azaylia was alive it was constant then. I just hope they both find a way to properly grieve😕

My heart breaks for them so bad, I couldn't even begin to imagine the pain they must be feeling. One thing what doesn't sit right with me though, is all the "fan" pages people have made about azaylia. Posting pictures of a dying baby an calling her their angel like they knew her. Some of them even have things like "saf liked×3 an commented" as if its an achievement to be noticed by the parents of the poor baby they are posting about. Its just weird!

It seems to be the Ashley Cain show... give credit to Saf, she carried A, gave birth to her, nursed her and then lost her to a devastating illness. I know Ashley is A's dad and its devastating for him to loose a baby, but its going to be even harder for Saf. She will have an overwhelming ache and pain in her body for her baby.
I feel more for Saf than i do for Ashley

Shocked how heartless some of you are. They haven’t used any of the money you can clearly see it’s still in the go fund me. Ashlie posted a few weeks ago saying every penny is going to charity. Criticising someone for setting up a charity in ho lie of their dead baby is pretty low. He may not have experience but he has a high profile and contacts hence why he was able to raise the money so quickly. Why shouldn’t other children with cancer benefit from this money. It’s his way of coping and would you begrudge him that. Honestly shocked at these comments.
Because he clearly loves the limelight and a more established charity would be a better way to ensure the money goes to actually increasing research etc. He is now famous for his child dying (I had never heard of him before, as other posters have said too)…. And that fame only seems to be growing. There is something very odd and off about it.

And if this sounds heartless so be it, but having a party at a cemetery is fucking disgraceful and lacks any consideration to the other graves and the families who have lost. If you really have to be that much of a twat, at least keep it private, but no, these attention seekers can’t can they.

Sorry the comments about how they could leave their child when she was so ‘obviously sick’ are not sitting right with me. Doctors looked at her and said she’s fine. There comes a point where you just try and get on with life if the doctors give the all clear. Saying they shouldn’t of gone to Manchester, they were leaving her with someone who was responsible and trusted at the time clearly.

I’m saying this from experience of a diagnosis with my daughter. She had bronchilitis and was in and out of hospital for over 2 weeks (4 months old). Doctors checked her several times and said her obs were fine so not to worry. She seemed like she was over the worst and I left her with my dad and step mother to watch her for the day as I had to attend a work course. I had to leave midway as her breathing deteriorated and travelled straight back to take her back to hospital for answers which is when they did a chest X-ray and found something wrong with her heart.

most importantly, I look back now (nearly 2 years later) and can see all the signs that she was in heart failure and I can tell that she doesn’t look well. But at the time, I was knackered and just listened to what I was told. When you are told several times that things are fine you have no reason to doubt the doctors?

Sorry, bit of a ramble but I beat myself up a lot for not spotting the signs sooner and I imagine Ash and Saff do too about Azaylia. So seeing people blame them for going to Manchester the day she was diagnosed has touched a nerve.

Ash does seem to be quite a cold partner, I didn’t follow them until Azaylia was ill but I had seen him on both series’s of ex on the beach he featured in. On the first one he was aggressive, confrontational, egotistical and cheated on camera. On the second one he was brought in to cause trouble and was single.

The next time I remember him after that was for his relationship with Chloe Khan, according to her threads he left her because she got vaginal surgery. When I started following Azaylia’s journey I had a nose through his Instagram and noticed he posted very little of his relationship with Saff and there weren’t very many posts of the baby although she was only a few weeks old before her diagnosis.

I grew to like him watching his relationship with his baby and how good he was with her. I truly believe that he would have gone to the ends of the earth to save her however i think how he speaks of her is very telling. She was the love of his life, she made him the man he always wanted to be, she made him loving and affectionate, she saved his life.

I have never heard him speak of Saf in such glowing terms or award her these titles. So I’m not sure what to make of his feelings towards her. I think she needs and deserves to be told how amazing she is, how deserving of love and affection and all of that beautiful love that he poured into Azaylia should now be poured into her. She seems so affectionate and is quite vocal about the high regard she holds him in.

Regarding the orange skies, faces in clouds and other signs. I would never judge them for seeking comfort that their baby is still here in spirit. Nobody ever wants to let go of a child. I hope they always find comfort in the signs as they will find comfort in little else.

They've got every right to grieve in whatever way they want. But other visitors the cemetery also have the right to visit loved ones graves without seeing 50 people drinking beer, instagramming, and dancing to All night long by Lionel richie.
