Are there ever any men at the finish lines? All I’ve seen is hoards and hoards of women and tired kids
Maybe it's just me but if that was my friend on her own like that,on the other side of the country,I would absolutely be with her, even if she told me not to,I understand (kind of) during the week that maybe they are all working etc but it's the weekend and surely at least one of them are off to go be with her,if us as strangers are seeing how broken she is then surely her friends see it more.where is the crowd that were at the funeral?none of them free for a day or two!Haven’t yet read through the thread outside the first page of the last one but also get the impression poor Saff is really under supported, and wish I could hug her.
It sounds weird but I think Doreen Lawrence would be a fantastic person for her to talk to - obviously Stephen was a lot older and murdered not unwell but Doreen has navigated through similar in the high profile sudden death of a child and has subsequently campaigned for decades, something Saff wants to get into with the foundation?
When I start earning again....Subtle as ever
WhaaaaaSo you think him driving the car he did flashing his trainers and everything else is not a flashy lifestyle. He has always made sur he portrayed his expensive lifestyle so there’s no backtracking now and pretending otherwise. Also he has himself bragged about his detached house with his as he said 3 bathrooms, on more than one occasion. And for the record I have one too before you come at me with I’m jealous I’m not! But if you think his house and lifestyle are average then wow is all I can say! Most families and their extended families have to sell everything they own when they try to raise the money they did. And it doesn’t fly with me that neither can work when he is able to do what he is doing and Saf is working on insta. As I said they are no better than the millions of families that have to go through this all whilst HAVING Zero choice but to work. And this comes from personal experience.
Tbh I just thank god I’ve not had to consider such a thing. I can’t get outraged over grieving parents having some joy on the day of their daughter’s funeral, sorry.I would like to think most people would have just had a "normal" funeral and given that money straight to the hospital to buy a life saving machine or given straight to make a wish foundation. There was no need for lavish and expensive things at the funeral.
