4am and I feel like throwing up. This heat isn't pleasant in the slightest.
I’ve just been woken (by hubby!) sleeping downstairs, much more pleasant and cooling for me and the dog! Now he’s got the dog and I’m off for a few hours in bed4am and I feel like throwing up. This heat isn't pleasant in the slightest.
YES!!! ThisCan’t recall where I learnt this but put some tap water in your hot water bottle and freeze it flat. Pop it in a clean pillow case and sleep with it - so nice. Just don’t fill it up too much as water expands as it freezes.
Closed during the day with the curtains drawn to keep the heat out - even better if your curtains have thermal backing. Open everything up once the temperature starts dropping in the evening. Leave some windows open overnight if it’s safe to do so.Ok I’ve got a question… windows open or windows closed?
we’ve had all of our windows shut since Friday (apart from the bathroom one) and it’s bleeping ROASTING. Literally having all the windows/blinds/curtains closed all weekend has done absolutely nothing!
We’ve got black out/thermal blinds and curtains on the bedroom on the south side of the house so there we have door shut, windows shut, blinds down, curtain closed during the day, and at night we sleep there so fan on, window wide open.Ok I’ve got a question… windows open or windows closed?

I agree, I can’t even go upstairs at night at the moment! But in the day it’s fineAm I crazy or it's hotter at night than it is during the day?
I swear, I wasn't this hot during the day, but now I'm roasting like chicken legs in the oven!
