Anyone else too hot 🥵 to sleep 😴 😢

I know we moan when it’s cold and we moan when it’s wet…. But OMG it’s Bloomin’ hot lol Anyone else struggling to sleep?

Yep. I woke up at 2 and had to run to be sick because I was so hot. There's just no breeze. Plus my back is red from today so that's on fire.

I've had an ice lolly, juice with ice cubes and going to take some paracetamol to reduce my temp as I'm literally hot to touch.

I'm all for the hot sunny days but can it be nice and cool on a night please haha

He could be the twin of my dog - is he a Patterdale?
Do those cooling mats work? If so I'm going to get him one as his constant panting (always on me for some reason) makes me so much hotter

Yep patterdale! Yes the cooling mat helps but the cooling flannel is helping more! I’ve put it on his tummy and he’s fast asleep now! Lucky him lol

Hubby sleeping in the spare room tonight because it’s too hot, he’s just been to the loo and I asked if he’s sleeping well and apparently yes!!! wick!!! Lol

Currently 39 weeks preggers so struggling with the heat! Things that have worked to cool me down a little bit is a luke warm shower before getting in bed straight away in front of the fan (still wet basically!), a migraine relief sticky pad and just having a duvet cover on the bed as a cover- I can't seem to sleep without something being on me a little bit! Other than that I'm bloody boiling

Last night we had all 4 bedroom windows open, two fans (pointing directly at each of us) and it still felt like an oven and it's only going to get hotter!

I got him a cooling mat from B & M. They only had one huge XL one left. Massive rush on them today they said. People buying them for themselves and children
Instant success. First time in days he hasn't been restless and uncomfortable and panting constantly.

It was awful wasn’t it!?! Love it in the day, nice having the sunny warm days, but it should snow at night lol

Oh god it’s awful!

I had my 2nd covid jab yesterday, and have all the side effects- nausea, fever, fatigue. All I want to do is sleep and I can’t. Even with the silent fan (best thing we’ve ever bought, I LOVE it) it’s too hot.

I’ve took my duvet out of the sheet and just sleep with the sheet on. Table fan on a low setting facing me. Had such a better nights sleep last night from doing all this.

Fans aren't really any good as all they are doing it moving the heat around

Oh my god yes! I’m doing nights so I’m working 12 hrs then coming home and trying to get enough sleep in the day when it’s the hottest!
