Can you imagine being at work and then your partner messaging to say either come here in 10 minutes or I will cause a scene and low and behold she causes a scene so all your colleagues can hear her screaming in the background. I would be so so so embarrassed!! Can you imagine if Tarun did the same to her?? She gets to lock herself up and enjoy her sofa sessions without any interruptions... Tarun deserves better than this scheming witch who plays mind games..
I thought too, I mean he has a senior role and provides a nice life for her and she come across as a nasty spoilt child. Does she really think those stories show her in her best light cause they don’t.

It is very hard with young children sometimes and I think it’s true it can get on top of you occasionally but why is she always so stressed/ screaming/ having mini breakdowns.
I really don’t understand. She has a v supportive husband, regularly has breaks and has hired help at home. A lot of her followers will have no family support, maybe difficult home life’s, why can’t she recognise her own privilege when she’s having baths/ runs/ closing her eyes or whatever nonsense she’s on about

I don’t know if she does it to pretend to be relatable or she really is like that but it is incredibly odd to be always posting these stories when she’s a therapist

baffled 🙃

Does anyone follow Mumologist on Instagram? She has a great social media presence, but is also very boundaried and professional. She did a short video of this on one of her recent posts (8 Feb) which was oddly liked by Anna.

This. I don't know if she's actually like this or she's pretending and I don't know which one is worse. Author of two books and makes money from her career as a therapist but she acts like this. Can you imagine Tarun's colleagues.

"Oh poor woman, looking after three kids alone. Maybe she needs to see a therapist for help".

"She has a cleaner, a nanny and she's actually a therapist herself".

"Oh, erm, OK, poor Tarun then".

I think poor Anna is very confused over self love and self care and being selfish. I don’t believe for a minute that there is any guilt attached to her behaviour that she described.
She behaves entitled and selfish and there is a huge difference to self care.

Notice the caption. All about YOU and YOUR feelings.
Me, me, me! I really feel for her husband.

I am not sure how much more self love can one person achieve in one day when you are having baths at mid day and going for walks, chatting to Instagram and friends all day including doing your nails and eyebrows and makeup and hair. It was her choice to have these 3 children. Why have 3 kids when all you are going to do is moan for the rest of your life about not having enough time. Is it not better to have 1 child then and focus on him or her and actually have a good quality of life which isn't filled with hatred, complaints and tantrums.. she needs to respect her children because this is just getting so embarrassing now. Poor poor Tarun!!

I couldn't find if this had been discussed in the thread yet but has anyone checked her website recently? Have you seen she's now no longer a counseller and instead offers 'coaching'. £450 + VAT for 1 hour (!). It's a neat sidestep from calling it counselling - it probably doesn't then fall under the auspices of her professional body. It's also worth pointing out that psychotherapist is not a protected title - anyone can call themselves that.

If there are people paying £540 for 1 hour with Anna, then before coaching with her they first need some money advice on not wasting their money. It's amazing that there's a second book in the works which will just be rehashing the first book and boils down to a few inane principles.

She seems unhinged, unable to manage the three kids (a shame she had all three, she should employ her Nanny full time to ensure each child's needs are fulfilled-not a dig, I have 2 and know I'd be a much worse mum if I added another, it's not for everyone!)

Her live after making her husband stop his conference call seems like a mix of her about to burst out laughing after humiliating her husband and about to burst out into hysterical tears because she's not coping. Either scenario seems entirely contrived!!!!

I'm not coping with my children, homeschooling and wfh either but I don't broadcast it to the world. My husband and I try to support each other and I tell my own Mum about how I'm struggling....and some of my closest friends know but I certainly don't share often or with such drama.

I think the level of drama she adds to everything actually make her difficulties worse....or she is just hamming it up for her followers.

She is a pretty girl but clearly loves herself so much, with all the pouting and faux jokey quips, hair swishing and playing, putting her painted nails up to her carefully made up face on lives. It makes her UNATTRACTIVE, sadly.

I have to say she's the type to have had three kids because it's a marker of middle class wealth, a status symbol.....just like everything else in her life.

I couldn’t of written it better myself.
So true about the three kids marker. I find myself living around very middle / upper class families, due to my husbands job and three or more kids is standard, including a Volvo or a Range Rover, nanny and a cleaner and not forgetting a private school. It’s definitely all about the status. I have none of these things btw.

Often these women love boasting about how busy they are but actually they just appear neurotic to me and are always angry with their husbands - bit Like Anna.
Anna is definitely trying desperately to fit into that same mould. So much so she’s even changed her regional accent 😏

Yes and the other day she moaned about her Volvo that keeps breaking but she is still keeping it. Let go of this lifestyle that you can't afford Anna. Let go of the broken Volvo and buy a golf, should have had 2 kids instead of 3 that you can't cope with, speak in your normal accent then try and fit in the London commuter region, move closer to your mum that you miss and can get support from than down south where you don't belong, let go of the husband that you despise so much and try and be a single lady, let go of the nanny and cleaner that you can't afford and have to sell your soul and privacy just so you can make extra money to afford a lifestyle you can't afford.... She is a victim of her own problems that she has created herself

Oh my lord you can see her erect nipple in her latest video.. how is that professional or even appropriate???

CharlieOBrien (she used to be a DJ) is the same. Training as a professional therapist after spending years working as a hypnotherapist, but has very clear boundaries. No longer shows her kids, and there's a disclaimer on her Instagram posts now saying its not therapy etc. I dont know how Anna gets away with this, it is all incredibly unprofessional.

I see. This makes a lot of sense - she’s rebranded herself as a celebrity coach for the extremely well off. I had a look on her website and she says she works in a solution focussed way and that her coaching doesn’t include working with trauma. Which is strange because that’s essentially the whole point of training as a psychotherapist. But at least she’s recognised how unethical it is for her to work with vulnerable people. I wonder if this followed a meeting with BACP after a complaint or two?

I can’t imagine ever needing to pay hundreds of pounds for someone to tell me what to do, I might as well ask my mum 😂

Hahahaha hahahaha this had made me laugh!! Who does she think she is 🤣🤣🤣 could her head get any bigger?? Why would the NHS waste expensive public funds and resources on some cheap Google copy paste mimick.. piss off Anna! Go cry a river of how terrible your husband is in the corner..

Yeah you can make it happen by giving them away for free. If you are genuinely interested to help people then give them away for free? Why do you need to be paid to help someone out?

Yeah great idea Anna, keep that greedy brain fizzing away. If you're that desperate for every mum to have a copy email the e-book to the maternity wards and tell them they can email it out to anyone wanting it. I mean it costs you nothing to email the e-book across. Why would you need £100k funding for that??!! How dare you assume every mum wants it needs it. We are not one big homogenous money making mass. Anna is trying to take over bounty with the manipulation and forceful marketing.

Also why would the nhs, who can't sufficiently afford midwives and drs to keep wards fully open, give you - a charlatan, obscenely rich housewife - £100k for an ebook?

Fyi, I'm a mum and it's a firm NO from me for the book. Take it and stick it.

She is clueless , the NHS have services to support people that need it , they are not going to waste money on Annas book, who does she think she - every mum should have her book and it would save money FFS! For someone who claims she has no self worth she bloody loves herself ! She needs to stop! I can't actually believe she suggested this ! It's a kick in the teeth to those who do work in the NHS in perinatal teams or mental health teams who get paid about £20 an hour in comparison to Annas £450, they do real work and sit with people and their distress are care for them , not just repeat quotes or tell them how bad life had been for them like Anna does ! Stick to your coaching love ! The NHS won't buy into a book written by a coach when they have clinical psychologists working for them with years and much experience. How fricking offensive to the NHS can you be !! And get your spelling right - funding not finding !! Omg why do you need funding , and by funding you mean payment for you, you don't need funding to email your book out! Preying on the vulnerable again! Vile unethical self obsessed women !

I think she is basically selling herself at this stage, if you want to listen to me pay £450
