In my high school it was like the coolest thing ever to have a horse or being able to ride one.
Attending a birthday of a classmate at her riding school was my personal highlight of third grade.
So cut the crap Aja. You weren't most likely a nerd back then, and are def not one now. And pls explain how you 'own it' nowadays.

Another friend had a horse and she was much more popular. It’s not guaranteed that horse = friends but maybe you could say if you have a horse and still no friends something is up with you.

Given she grew up in sweden, I find it highly unlikely she was bullied solely for having a horse and loving it... From what I understand it's a pretty common hobby up there even amongst low-middle income households, and you would have at least a couple of girls in the same class/grade to connect with based on the hobby and going to the stable after school or similar.

A friend of mine from sweden was extremely low income growing up, from elementary school until right before high school, and could participate in horseback riding growing up because of some grant situation through the public school in that period of time.

But then again there are different levels of obsessed with horses Do I know some who were excluded because of their love for horses? Kinda, when he decided to focus all his energy on competitions... But it's also hard to be included in the class when you aren't present 99% of the time.

Kids probably tried to be nice but you have to admit, Russian immigrant mother, doesn't know her real father, probably had even worse accent than now until she learned Swedish...adds up to being the class weirdo.

I have a soft spot for swedes and find them very open minded and welcoming of other cultures though. I think it was young Aija's fault that she didn't integrate well. Her childhood seems lacking in love and care as we all have seen.

I want to do something about it! It's unfair to all the girls that believe in her crap and paid or are willing to pay. As much as Aija likes to complain about new money. Nothing screams nouveau riche like having a get together to unbox your new Hermes Kelly bag. All while posting it to your IG stories during a pandemic when a lot people are struggling financially.

Spaghetti straps, off the shoulder, strapless, cold shoulder and padded stuff does make shoulders look broader, so you can look more masculine. I can't pull it off since I am an inverted triangle I have to balance my beloved Balmain blazers out with fluffy skirts with petticoats if I want to look balanced...

In my society it's common for little girls to beg their parents for horses for their birthdays (though few receive them)
