Yeah, I’ve finally checked out the website (not her “flea market” which still has a few garments for sale) and the prices are prohibitive for Anna’s early target market. Meanwhile, her aspirational target market won’t invest in clothes from an unknown brand associated with scams which can be uncovered with just a few clicks. Meh.

Is this the demise of scam artist, Anna Bey? Will there be an appropriately elegant funeral? Should we send flowers?🤣

Imagine - finally done in by greed and a linen granny dress. Too perfect!

Isn't it hilarious that the only seemingly serious potential buyers need XL or plus-sized clothing? That's exactly why XL clothes were missing from the unsold items lot that our fashion genius took off resellers' hands, much to their delight! These dresses and shirts with their flowy, streamlined silhouette, generous amount of fabric and vertical, elongating details like button-down closure are particularly flattering on larger frames. Plus-sized ladies don't have as much flexibility in designs they can wear and had already bought out all the XL items from this line when it originally went on sale in stores at the beginning of the season. On the other hand, there wasn't nearly as much demand for these designs in S or M sizes because these women have greater flexibility in styles they can wear and this market got oversaturated much faster.

Terrible garment design or mass-produced issue?

Let's look at the 'Sleeveless Linen Shirt in White' (€165.20) in size 'M'.

designchoice.png

  1. Bust dart line placement: Drawing Anna Bey's natural appex line gives us an idea of where this dart should be. Ideally, the dart should aim towards the bust point because its job is to blend the fabric into the curvature of the chest. Instead, the dart is placed way too high.
  2. Armhole: It could be a design choice, but armholes are measured with movement in mind. This armhole may feel too tight on most women (unless you have slender and narrow arms). I like my armhole to be 1-2 inches from my armpit to avoid friction with the skin.
  3. No darts in the torso: Anna only took pictures of the front of the shirt, so I couldn't catch if there's other tailoring techniques done. But it looks like it's just a simple torso with no darts. It just makes the top look plain and bunched up at the waist. The linen material also doesn't help accentuate a waist since it just further pronounces the excess fabric around the stomach.
Note: Anna Bey only uploaded the back view (worn) of only two of her garments: 'Anna's Signature Shirt Dress in Red' and 'Oversized White Linen Shirt - Beach Cover Up'. Is she using clips?

@annabeyhoax Aija should pay you for your knowledge 😁

The shirt and the shorts are the worst things in her collection - the dresses would be okay(ish) for much less money I guess, but the granny ensemble is even hated by her fans 😂

My dear eleganth ladiez, the ship is finally sinking.

I miss some of the old members, but I would say, I have a juicy contribution for those who are still lurking in the shadows.

Anna has said over and over that she allegedly has an office, which address has been listed as Boulevard Georges-Favon 43, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland.

This is public information available here https://annabeyshop.com/pages/privacy-policy

I have never seen convincing photos of this "office" (neither of her assistant, or cars, or husband, or anything really?). From my point of view, she kind of has some type of corporate flat and the infamous "Audi lounge".

Some months and research on my end, I have found that Anna likely has no office there. I will state the proof below, simply pointing out public information that anyone with Google can find.

If you check on Google maps this address, there are many dodgy businesses listed there, including this site.

What is "Fiduciaire Amedia" with its stunning 3.7 stars reviews? Well, it is a company that offers "Financial and marketing services", including address registration for companies in Geneva...

This is a common service offered in Europe and the USA whenever a company still has no office but needs an address for taxes / registration purposes.

What I mean by this? It is entirely possible that Anna at the moment has no office and is using the service of this random company to set his " Bey International SA" address there.

I wonder how Anna is going to try to "prove us wrong" now, will she return to a temporary place to record some snippets of "her office" again?:sneaky: Will she hire a new random lady to be her assistant for a day?

On the other hand, Bey International SA has been registered as some type of "Educational services company".

Dear Anna, are you invoicing your overpriced Aliexpress dresses with the same tax number? Do you think you can scam out the Swiss authorities?

I seriously think that Anna owes me compensation for all the free advise during all those month, personally I think my job is done here.
That's a good reminder, Anna's shoddy business address was discussed before in this threat: https://tattle.life/threads/anna-be...man-program-review.23907/page-46#post-6893904
The company in this address is run by one Carl Buchalet, this guy:

About this part

1690401878864.png

It's a third-party Warehouse https://www.ecommercefulfilment.com/

Which has obviously bad reviews (ignore the fake 5 star reviews from profiles with only 1 review ... 🤪) https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/ecommercefulfilment.com?stars=1

So if anything goes wrong with the return / refund process, Anna may blame "the company I was working failed us..." when is absolutely easy to spot that this is just a cheap fulfillment centre, far away from the top tier return process that a brand with 400 euro dresses should have.

Thank you @ThirdWorldGlam for finding the reviews of the fulfillment company. It is truly not surprising to hear that Banana picked a shady partner company that is known to be unreliable. That of course is perfect when she wants to fob off customers who have problems, like if people never got their order, or if they sent a return but never got their money back.
Of course, if Anna had been a decent businesswoman who was starting her clothing brand of 400 EURO dresses, she would have made sure she has the commercial space to keep and sort her inventory, ship orders and receive returns. For that one wouldn't need a massive warehouse, even 50 square meters would do - I suspect she doesn't have more than a few pallets of inventory. And there is a likelihood that she doesn't receive hundres or thousands of orders. Her brand is tiny and only known to her followers. At that price point, people don't order on a whim so in theory, a one woman operation could handle it. But of course, our elite laydee is too fancy and elefant to do such a lowly job. She wants the airs and graces of a ''big business, serious fashion brand'' with no work.
Dear Anna Bey follower, if you stumble upon these threads, please have a good look at the information people have accumulated. Tattlers are not trolls or haters. We document Anna's scammy practices so that as few people as possible part with their money. If she were only posting her videos and kept on a pretense of being very rich, there wouldn't be 38 threads about her

I just want to add that @thelaway or Lauren Amiri, whom I'm sure Anna stole her fashion line idea from, sells her dresses for much less (100-200 euro)

Lots to catch up on, so I'm just posting this for now, I'm not sure if it's been noticed before, how generous the free shipping policy is!!
1 dress alone, or a couple of shirts will not get you free shipping! You need to spend at least 500.

How come our guru grand business woman has gone so quiet about her line? I guess by now we should be getting reposts from happy customers showing how high end the packaging and how wonderful the Banana linen is. But it seems that shipping is taking forever and Banana was too cheap to send a few PR boxes to her friends. Well, perhaps she doesn't have good enough friends to do that with. Though it would've been a great strategy to drum up business in theory, excited posts from people she knows. But it seems that her possible close out lot clothing is in the suspect NL fulfillment center and will be shipped out when the company sees fit. It is all very, very fitting with her style.

Came over here after getting that email!! OMG... she "challenged" herself not to buy anything for a year? When was this? when she was broke and couldn't buy anything for herself and sugar daddies bought things for her??

Thanks @sweet_tea for posting this! It's funny how she's still trying to pretend that she had any XL sizes at all with that "I have enjoyed hearing your feedback on what you most enjoyed about the pieces and what we could improve for the next collection. (More availability for XL pieces noted!)"

I'm not sure who she thinks she's fooling with the whole story about learning to appreciate and invest in well-made clothing. So, she did a "no buy" year and once that year was up, she invested in ONE quality piece with the money she had saved from not buying any clothes all year. Ok, that's fine. I'm glad she had this revelation. However, it comes across as if she's telling her fans that complain about her prices that her collection is investment worthy...something that will last a long time and can be handed down generations.:sneaky::ROFLMAO: Yeah ok, sure, AnnaBanana. Your flimsy see-through linen clothes simply do not justify your prices, they are not pieces that will last forever, are boring, and don't even seem to fit you that well. She's delusional if she honestly believes this.

She's right about investing in better quality clothes and not buying fast fashion but for many of her fans some fast fashion brands ARE investment pieces. Also, not everyone can forgo buying new clothes for a year to then invest that saved money into just one item. And even if they did, saving up to invest in Banana's inflated prices is not a good investment.

The thing is, I don't think her collection is really that horrible overall...some pieces like those shorts are tragic...but it's mostly fine (and boring, but that's ok). And if it were priced reasonably, there really wouldn't be much to talk about.

When I did the last workshop, I had to give Anna my email. She just sent out her origin story for her brand. You're welcome 😊

Thank you. I nearly gagged reading it, but thank you. She is so utterly full of it! And she very obviously didn’t write this dissertation herself, as for once, it’s literate and mostly free of grammatical blunders. She must have hired someone!

I think you could be right. All we know is that she certainly didn’t write it herself! Does she actually think we’re that stupid? We’re not, Anna. You should realize that by now. Stop embarrassing yourself!

I got this e-mail, too. Screaming of desperation. She's sunk whatever little money she had left from her previous scam into purchasing this unsold leftovers lot, its transportation to this shady warehouse in Netherlands, arranging buyer agreement details with whatever unethical attorney she uses (maybe an associate of this Carl guy who posted his exceptionally professional-looking image), label manufacturing and attachment expenses, hiring a photographer, probably purchasing packaging supplies (unless those are supplied by this Netherlands fulfillment center, in which case it would be factored into her fee which is still due every month or at whatever intervals according to their agreement) - all in anticipation of an overwhelming flood of orders for $500 dresses and $300 shirts. Instead, all she got was an overwhelming flood of criticism.

The irony is - she's been preaching non-stop in countless videos to look for quality in fabrics and designs. She should be proud of her followers - they've learned that clearly visible, even in photos, pockets and hem, sloppily attached labels, uneven dress length are NOT signs of quality. And they're seeing identical and better items go on end-of-summer clearance sales at their local stores for a fraction of her prices.

She may have been hoping to use sale proceeds to go on a trip like so many Swiss now do and keep the charade going by posting pictures from 5-star hotels - and she can't even afford to go to local restaurants to take menu pictures but is reduced to pretending she loves local countryside. No wonder she looks stressed and haggard in her pictures. Hopefully she can still afford microwave meals; we're not mean here and wouldn't wish starvation even on a scammer.
