Banana's husbandSince Anna has clearly proven to be an inadequate “elegant stylist”, does anyone know where to find inspiration for timeless, classic, business-casual look? I would like to incorporate some of the designer statement pieces, e.g. Valentino rockstuds, Burberry trench etc…
I guess one of the ways to look at how you could incorporate designer statement pieces into a business casual and classic look would be to have a browse through Vogue or L'Officiel ( another high brow fashion mag) and see how they style things. Or look at the pages that sell designer items - some styling is out there, but some is quite classic.Since Anna has clearly proven to be an inadequate “elegant stylist”, does anyone know where to find inspiration for timeless, classic, business-casual look? i must agree with dunhill on this one. i'm vanilla as hell, few friends of mine are into kinks/fetish or bdsm lifeOK, but I would have thought that since she's been in the business for such a long time, she must have come across such requests. Maybe now she's in a position to pick and choose her clients but I struggle to believe that at least in the early days she wouldn't have 'seen and done stuff' so to speak. I mean, I myself came across some rather kinky guys in my dating years (and I was just dating a handful of men, not escorting) so I would think that it's more common than we think. After all, why would a guy hire an escort? Especially if he's married? Probably because he wants to try something new that his wife wouldn't agree with.
Also, the focus on granny dressing makes me think that the the more conservative she's trying to be, the more she's trying to get away from (in terms of her experience).
I do agree, though, that Aija is narrow minded and that she doesn't seem to have a deeper knowledge of almost anything (not fashion or elegance either tbh), I think she would deviate from her narrow-mindedness in the past only because of money.
Most of the sex workers have very clear limits of different sexual activities that we do not do. I would say that most women offer vanilla or girlfriend experience, since it is the most demanded. There is another group of women who offer slightly more extreme or very extreme experiences, but they are usually the minority IMO.i must agree with dunhill on this one. i'm vanilla as hell, few friends of mine are into kinks/fetish or bdsm life
from them i learned these are very delicate topics, whem an individual is looking for things like that they should go to specialists, its not for everyone
and i asume not all sex workers offer just everything, right?
i rather avoid this generalizing thinking pattern like "oh shes like that she must be into alllll those", its just not (wait for it....) elegant
Lydia Tomlinson's channel on YT. I love her, thanks to her I rediscovered some old pieces in my wardrobe that I was about to give away. And yes, she is promoting some of the brands but she is focused more on how to use what you have already got. And holiday packing became so much easier now.Since Anna has clearly proven to be an inadequate “elegant stylist”, does anyone know where to find inspiration for timeless, classic, business-casual look? Like @Plane_Jane said, Pinterest is my go-to for fashion inspiration. Use the search bar for starters (e.g.: Burberry trench outfit ideas) and create a board where you save all your favorite pictures to. (Once you have a board, Pinterest has a feature at the bottom that you click to take you to similar pictures for even more looks.) Focus on your color palette, cut and styles that you like and are flattering, and the statement pieces that you love, and the wonderful Pinterest algorithm will give you back tenfold.Since Anna has clearly proven to be an inadequate “elegant stylist”, does anyone know where to find inspiration for timeless, classic, business-casual look? Sometimes, it makes more of a statement to deliberately not buy into so-called status items such as the ones you have mentioned.Since Anna has clearly proven to be an inadequate “elegant stylist”, does anyone know where to find inspiration for timeless, classic, business-casual look? Thank you so muchI guess one of the ways to look at how you could incorporate designer statement pieces into a business casual and classic look would be to have a browse through Vogue or L'Officiel ( another high brow fashion mag) and see how they style things. But I think what is most important is your own personal style and every day needs. The Burberry trench goes with nearly everything (depending on the color of the coat). Try to decide if that is the focal point of the outfit, or you want to add the rockstuds if they are complimenting the coat's color.
One way I have found that does help with styling is to pull out the pieces you are interested in styling, put them together in outfits and take selfies. Then you can evaluate what you got and decide ''oh this blouse doesn't really go that well with the other things, but in outfit 6 it was the star.''
How you wear something depends on your personal likes - perhaps you like an all neutral pallette, maybe you like monochrome.... I'd say experiment with putting together things you have a looking at the results in the selfies. I know it takes a bit of time to try on outfits and decide on the combos - but once you know what works for you it could really make things easier for you. You might find which items in your wardrobe are the ones that you really use and which ones were nice in theory, but a bit impractical in real life. Everyone has a different body shape, height, coloring so I can just give you some general ideas.
Though I think this is in the same eleghunt subculture vein like Banana says. You can use the ideas in the post for free and if that doesn't work for you, you haven't lost any $.
I imagine Banana reading this and then we will see her post this as her new genius, idea. Banana, we are watching you.
Rockstuds are one of my favorites since they offer a bit of an edgy look+ the straps are offering me extra supportSometimes, it makes more of a statement to deliberately not buy into so-called status items such as the ones you have mentioned.
Not everyone suits a Burberry trench, some need a softer, more fluid outline. There are also so many other, potentially better trench coats out there too. Are you wanting a Burberry trench because it looks amazing on you, or is it because it's a Burberry trench? This is an important question to consider.
As for Valentino rock studs, they're not exactly a business casual look, and for me, too tied into the Roland Mouret tight dress aesthetic that was all the rage back when Victoria Beckham was still a WAG. And, without wanting to be rude, a bit of a hooker shoe too. Your money is better spent on a simple pair of Manolo Blahnik high heeled pumps or if you want something a bit more obvious, a pair of Chanel two-tone sling backs.
For a business casual, timeless, classic clothing, I would be looking at Joseph, The Row, The Fold for ideas before looking at what people are wearing. I rarely read fashion magazines these days, but the How To Spend It section of the Financial Times is great for inspirations. And, like others have said, Pinterest is a good place to start, ditto Instagram. For the latter, if I am looking at a particular brand, I look under the tagged section and see how people are wearing these labels.
Lastly, and, don't laugh, but there's a BBC tv series called The Split. Hannah, the female lead was a lawyer and her wardrobe was impeccable.
Also her instagram, with quick but easy to follow tipsLydia Tomlinson's channel on YT.
Having worked in and around the fashion industry for most of my life, I think we will have to agree to disagree about Rockstuds being edgy. What is important is that you genuinely love them and wear them. Which takes me to my next question: why do you not wear them more often? I know the pandemic and various lockdowns taught me that life is too short and was the gateway into finally realising that the whole notion of saving something for best is redundant. Wear the shoes, particularly as they give you so much pleasure and are one of your favourites.Rockstuds are one of my favorites since they offer a bit of an edgy look+ the straps are offering me extra supporti got them as a present and i have been very satisfied with them- but of course, not for everyday use
Poor Ted. playing a character in Banana's staged b'day party charade. Luckily for Ted, this is probably his first and also last celebration. Mental Banana is not very consistent with any anniversaries or celebrations so we'll probably not see another of Ted's b'days again. She completely ignores their wedding anniversary, she didn't even mention her own b'day this year and for Valentine's day she only posted a pic of flowers she had bought for herself. So no, I cannot imagine that Ted would have to play a role in his future staged b'day party charades. Just like with everything, Banana is too lazy to follow up on things regularly.Poor Teddy, having a birthday celebration at the boring office with no one but that cringe woman that claims to be mom.
Anna Bey has really gone from mentally fragile to seriously mental

Absolutely. What’s the point of organising a party for a pet? In my view, it’s all just for attention, especially media attention in the case of Aija. Why can’t a pet just be a pet?
