I was reading the thread about
Anna on Lipstick Alley and they linked to another interesting thread about
fake gurus and scammers, it’s an interesting read and everything mentioned definitely applies to Anna. Especially loved what used lalalander wrote:
“- They instantly block/delete any messages that question the legitimacy of their claims.
- Their reviews/comments are only positive.
- They beg for good reviews in exchange to free access of their content for the 'winner' from the reviewers.
- They change their names and locations too often and try to delete everything from their questionable online presence from the past.
- They use pushy/shady marketing techniques like: limited time to register for their course, spam the interested ones with countdown shown on each email, show 'real' value of their product and so-called 'price they are willing to sell it for' but only if you act now!, add some bonus features but only for the first 20 or so registered.
- Officially the sites of their products/services/courses claim the company is not giving any legal/health/style/financial advice and aren't responsible in any way for that exact, legal/health/style/financial, advice they are selling.”
