This is so trivial in comparison to other things on this thread, but regarding the corgis mentioned upthread. I remember when the late queen decided that she would stop getting new dogs, because she didn't want any of them to outlive her and be left missing her when she died...

Then Andrew got her two corgis? Wtf? I know, minor in comparison, but so nasty and selfish to do something she had already decided she wasn't going to do on emotional grounds. Reminds me of when abusive boyfriends subtly mess with you by buying you a present they know you don't like.

At this point I have to think B+E have been groomed since youth to not ask questions or to think it's okay, because all these years since the 'Sweat' interview they've still stood by him, and if their holidays were linked to Epstein via their mother and father etc, then I have to think they are never going to go scorched earth on their parents. I think they will quietly still support. I hope their husbands steer them away from their parents though. Their best chances are to publicly disassociate themselves with the parents and go live private lives with their own new families.

Another take is that, like their father, they have quite an inflated sense of their own importance and status as “blood princesses” and had grown up assuming that they were going to spend their lives in grace and favour luxury accommodation, wafting around being working Royals and cutting ribbons occasionally (like the Kents and the Gloucesters before them).

When that life path was denied, knowing that their rather mediocre talents weren’t going to afford them the lifestyle they thought they deserved, well that’s where Daddy’s line of work comes in.

Going back to Beatrice for a moment, I think she is just monumentally dim and divorced (until very recently) from any form of reality. Both her parents were utterly vile narcissists who probably told them over and over 'you are real blood princesses' and controlled their lives. Epstein, Ghislaine, Harvey Weinstein were all invited to her obscenely grand 18th by her repulsive father. He presumably would have justified all the meetings and trips with these billionaires as bringing in trade and part of his job as a prince/trade envoy. Any sweeteners/gifts were just perks of the job. I think in a way they were victims of their parents too.

BUT having said all that its not a great look that she is in the Middle East constantly. Her Dad clearly opened lots of doors and she now looks like she is profiteering from his dodgy past. I think she would be well advised to dial it all down massively. Some low-key unfashionable charity work in the bloody UK (that doesn't have the Bahrain GP tagged on at the end) would not go amiss. Same for Eugenie who is now popping up at art fairs in the Middle East.

I am so tired of the bizarre conspiracy theories. The re-hashed ones from the past - and the new ones that I am continuously reading about (when I just wish to learn facts about cases, etc).

I honestly feel like it just takes up valid reading time, when I happen across bizarre ramblings or quite malicious accusations that hold no validity.

I have a friend, who I am now having to avoid - as it’s one conspiracy theory after another.
It appears that every single politician from the 70s and 80s was / is a paedophile. Every single one of them, along with any TV presenters, entertainers or singers that she didn’t “like the look of”.
Teachers too - thy only go into the profession for one reason, according to her.

This is now even worse, because of AI. X is just a shit show of fake videos.
It’s so frustrating in the Epstein case, as we have this file dump. It’s a golden opportunity for the conspiracy theorists.
I just want facts - and I do want to know of them, as it’s important that perpetrators don’t slip through nets. Already, it’s clouded with fakes videos, images and made up theories.

I said before he was arrested on either this thread or the Epstein one, it’s very convenient this has happened after the move to Wood Farm. Just think what he probably destroyed whilst packing up Royal Lodge. A lot of evidence will have been ‘disappeared’.

Andrew, I believe, is very much still part of the family. Any statements will be to shut the plebs up. Family relations will remain as was. I think they’ve known it was far worse than at the time of the interview from at least then, maybe longer.

Any action taken, I think, is purely damage control not because they want to ex-communicate Andrew.

They need and crave the status and the money. Anything they do is to keep that up, not because of any sense of duty or moral compass. The late queen was equally complicit.

I think I have shared this story before so apologies but many years ago Andrew visited the UK Headquarters of the company I was working for at the time to meet our Exec Team. This was also on his birthday and one of our Directors rushed out to buy him a cake which they brought out and started to sing Happy Birthday to him when he arrived. He stormed out without saying anything and never came back so I’m overjoyed he doesn’t have that option today!
