I’m watching BBC and they are reporting six police cars attended with one going up to the front entrance and five covering the back entrance which is a police tactic to prevent an escape.
Three cars left thirty minutes later, with one not being one of the six police cars, which was believed to be Andrew and his security detail. Police have confirmed they are currently searching a property in Windsor and one in Sandringham.

While I agree this will likely amount to nothing and the Palace etc were probably notified in advance, the police must have pretty strong evidence to just swoop in and arrest him like that.
