Do we think that she is ruining her credit score or her items are fake?
Because I do not know how credit works in the US but in Europe you can't spend more money until you pay back everything that you owe.
The Sothebys video was such as missed opportunity for her to showcase the rare items that they own. I do not know about you but I buy some items from Sothebys online (bags, jewellery) because they have items that I can't find on 24S which is another luxury store. It is really good for items from Chanel and Hermes which can not be bought online. Also, the level of privacy provided by Sothebys is something that she could have explained. Really, they gave the wrong opportunity to the wrong person.

Wow so she had a falling out with Jeanne! That’s some tea for sure. I wonder if it affected perceptions of her within the Filipino influencer circle. My partner is Filipino and says communities are tight knit and there’s like 2 degrees of seperation.

kind of reminds me of that Petite Malle that she used to have, any video she showed it she’d mention how it was a gift from her relatives but she never wore it because it wasn’t her style or whatever… I couldn’t imagine receiving a gift from my family like that, the bag retails for almost 8,000AUD but to not like it (and harp on that for YEARS) and still accept the gift is just so disgusting to me.

I wasn't surprised she sold it because her new bags only come from collabs (read: bags are gifted or heavily comped via vouchers) or from selling gifted items. I did think it was sad because out of all of her bags, that LV petite malle was the most beautifully made. The history of the LV trunk and the way in which those bags are made is really something special AND not everyone has one. Alyssa wants that Hermes flex, even though we've all seen what's behind the curtain. I just don't get it.
The mooching is sketch, but not surprising. The opportunists I know cannot turn off the shady, manipulative, undermining, mooch behavior. They get a taste of the freebies, the step forward in life and it becomes like a drug. Falling out over something so small though is what I find truly revealing bc you know there was a long line of mooching that preceded it. I always wondered HOW Alyssa scored the way she did at Hermes. I know in 2020 NYC stores had a ton of stock and loads of people walking out with those neutral bags in desired sizes, but the special order? After zero spend outside of leather goods? It's unheard of. She used someone to get that special order. I'd love to tea on that.

Omg I’m so happy I found this thread. She’s one “influencer” that has bothered me increasingly over the years. I’ve followed her since her college days and she’s a totally different materialistic and brand loving person. She tries to make out that she lives this lux life style. There’s been so many red flags-
- in her college days before she could even afford Chanel, she was still wearing Marc Jacobs and aero clothes she had a fake cartier bracelet that she never tagged or brought up. She just wore it and then years later she ended up buying a real one. She speaks about not wearing fake things but I know she has in the past before her account blew up.
- I live in jersey and I actually saw her at the grocery store, not so lux In person plus the reason she never shows the outside of her house is because it’s literally a tiny house on a sketch street. it was a flipped house but she makes it seem like it’s so nice. I don’t care that it’s small but she really tries to make it seem like she lives a much different life with all her Hermes bag. I can’t imagine her walking out of that house on that street with those expensive bags.
- she has literally no friends, I remember at one point she was close with forevervanny and they had a falling out and then with grey layers as well. It’s no coincidence that she literally loses all her “friends”.
- for someone That is so materialistic I would have thought she’d want a non lab grown sponsored ring and she was probably so pissed her proposal wasn’t something grand.

I don't know why YouTubers think that constantly putting ads, showing insanely expensive items with no explanation on how to afford it will grant them growth? Sophie Shohet is part of the very few big YouTubers who are able to provide a level of information that average people need to actually buy luxury items. But if you watch Alyssa you'd think that every single luxury item is a good investment and being broke with a terrible credit is the way to go.

The dog is just another object for content, the fancy European car is just a lease that she can barely drive, the bag collection she prides herself on is either secondhand or sponsored, she only has designer clothes because they’re handouts, she’s only gone away for trips because they’re free and the only reason she got a ring is because it was staged for an ad and was a freebie fake
She can look down her nose all she likes and act like she’s some super chic boss babe who has it all, but from the outside looking in it’s all so staged and hollow.
