Why do you care if you weren’t following then? There were so many weird episodes on this thread that these sorts of questions from new members ring alarm bells

His photo is on earlier threads. Basically a sweaty potato with stubble. Think he was pushing 50, he rarely saw her kids which was bizarre considering they were planning on moving in together. Their relationship consisted of business class Flights to NY, Gucci handbags, seafood platters, and break ups and get back together posts. She has since alluded to control and abuse.
Also, even if this is a genuine request, it’s still always best to just go back and read old threads for yourself.
It’s not as if Alice has 20+ threads about her. There’s no need to ask people to summarise everything when these threads are pretty slow.

They were engaged and she broke it off about 3 times, then wrote an angry blog post saying his family had basically called her a "gold digger", then they got back together, she deleted the post...fast forward Dan the conman making her super happy for 5 minutes, moves in with him almost instantly...then says Gramps had never spent a night over at her house if the kids were there the entire time they were together even though THEY WERE ENGAGED and she had to call the police on him at some point. And this is just a very succinct summary.
God, she's a barmpot. Her upbringing seems so stable (I know you can never ever tell) with supportive parents. I wonder where all this comes from?
I just assumed it wouldn't be covered in old threads from a year/year and a half ago. I assumed it would be further back in the past. I was shocked to see that she was coming out of the relationship with this guy this time last year, and then went straight into the one with the con man. She's really had one hell of a year or so.
I genuinely thought splitting with Dan the alleged conman would have been a turning point for her to get her act together, but it’s just got worse
And then she remembered her kids!

Struggling so much that's she's been out on the lash at every verse end.
She'd so self absorbed. I'm WFH and yes I do finish on time as I've still got a family that I want to spend time with/needs me. She's just sat there, on her own, in her overpriced flat with no one but herself to worry about.

Yes I’m sure she works long hours, but she also earns a decent amount of money. And she has friends who bring food to her house when she’s tired, friends to go out for food with, friends to go on nights out with, membership of some swanky club where she can relax by the pool in the sunshine... I mean....!!!!!!!

I know we are speculating that she’s lost custody but does anyone know for sure?
I knew her in a past life and she revelled in the attention that being pregnant/having a wee baby bought her. The sheen seemed to wear off once her daughter became a toddler so having 10 and 8 year olds must be so dull for her.
I get the sense that the alleged endometriosis issues were embellished somewhat to justify the rush to marry/have kids because going to uni didn’t stick, started working, didn’t really love the whole working thing so boom, endo issues and here we are.

EXACTLY. She does because she can.
I don't think any of us know for sure but my take on it would be that they have come to an agreement that the kids stay with their Dad as opposed to her actually losing custody (which implies it's something she didn't want to happen). Maybe it started off when COVID hit to keep their daughter away from a big city and then it seemed to work out for everyone? they have a more stable life and Alice can carry on partying with her 20-something friends.
She really seems like an unbelievably shallow and selfish person with no sense of responsibility.
We will soon see when school starts in a few weeks. Will they be with her and moved to a school in Shoreditch? Or in Dorset?
She’s now paying at least £2k for her flat (I live nearby
and a 1-bed is around £2k and there are a few flats in her building going for that) but I’m assuming she’s got a 2-bed so the kids can visit. She’s probs paying as much as she was paying for her house in Barnes for like half the space but this area is not the place the raise kids...I always thought that the dad had the kids as his career was in live events so would have had no work on and as Alice was working it was a great opportunity for him to spend more time with the kids and it would be safer as less exposure to the kids. (If Alice had to go to the shops for anything she has to bring them with her, where with him, his partner or him could pop out leaving someone minding the children) HOWEVER the whole flat move to shoreditch makes it sound like it could be a permanent thing. I always felt she had never let go of the past life she felt robbed off but I guess her dreams have come true. Maybe this time she will grow up and realise the 20 something life isn’t all it cracks up to be and that’s why people get together and move out and live happily in the suburbs. Not everything that shines is gold....

what does she mean, cant remember a time she finished before 7?? hasnt she only been employed for like, 12 months???! And to say her kids have been with their dad for most of the summer, yes alice, thats because they live there. In their dads house. He has custody. thats why they live there.

Intrigued how you know this and how it came about. Did she ask him? Him ask her? Voluntary or through courts. It feels like there’s a whole layer of this that we don’t know (when we all felt we knew everything and now it’s just a stream of memes)he has custody, & she now has to pay her ex. fact
