I am a believer that Alice grooms people. And I do think she groomed L and D. I also thinks she grooms Lupine and to some extent her own brother. She does it by telling stories that are full of lies to make them feel sorry for her and to hate I and B. It’s done on a personal level though through direct messages which is a stronger way to groom.

I am a strong believer that while you can be groomed to be attached to a horrible person just a very small extend of bad actions you make for them can be put solely on that (i.e. i think Ioan is a good example, the letter is the worst he did, and Alice was clearly upset that he didnt do more, even against his own mom). I think neither Tone, Lin nor Loopy or many of her followers (and tbh also Ella but she has the excuse to be raised and weaponised by said abusive person) can be excused for this. for that they have been way too cruel from a humanity standpoint.

I actually would put the late Deb into that category. She was brainwashed by Alice until some point, but clearly more nuanced.

Is Alice claiming Ella has Misophonia because of the way she acted when Ioan was yelling at the TV because of a sports game? Ella did overreact, most kids do not get hysterical hearing their father yelling for his favorite sports team. Little Elsie was sitting in the same room with him quietly looking at a book and seemed to never notice Ioan yelling at the TV.

She also claimed Ella had fibromyalgia if I remember correctly. I think it's likely Alice is going to claim a number of bizarre ailments suffered by Ella to excuse her lack of employment and keeping Ella away from mainstream education.

I'm laughing at the sentence with Alice's name in it, "near words" kindness and candour...because let's face it, she doesn't know what those words mean
She's always been horrible, rude, argumentative, arrogant, ignorant, racist, mean, spiteful (i could be here all day!) her mask stayed on relatively well. Ioan leaving has shown the world who she really is as person, and it's not a nice one!

Why would she do that? It's bound to cause distress. Unless it's evidence for the court. Otherwise it just seems she can't let go inserting herself into this story. You ain't that important, love.

Lin was openly harassing and insulting Bianca herself and she would have been emailing equally awful stuff to Alice and encouraging her so it’s questionable how useful any of it is as evidence but maybe there’s info in there that’s useful to them.

The extent to which people can be groomed is incredibly underestimated. It is not just about people who vulnerable to this, the young and the lonely. Entire populations have undergone collective grooming. Isolation is an easy first step, surface level identification with the groomer and then you create a vacuum chamber of indoctrination. Humans are social and so much of our ethics and morality is leant through socialisation.

The other weapon Alice uses is division, she finds a wedge issue to drive people into her isolated web. Then of course there is complicity. Once you commit an act or deed on behalf of the leader or gang it’s hard to challenge that behaviour. You have to believe in it or face your own demons. Alice isn’t just destroying the lives of her victims. She is doing it to the people she has groomed into her thankfully little gang. It isn’t easy for them to wake up to that and confront it or her pack of attack dogs.

There is another related but separate issue at play in the long sad saga of what were always Ioan’s fans. That is their own need for a connection of any kind and to be part of their adored one’s life. A life they see in fantasy terms and therefore cannot accept any behaviour outside that fantasy. We see this all the time with fans being unwilling to accept a new partner. This turns to hate and vitriol for the star and their partner. It works the other way in that they don’t accept the split of celebrity couple.

Ioan and Alice were never a celebrity couple because she was NEVER famous (and he was barely famous...most people don't know who he is either)!

Actually I will add that, to me, in the UK at least, Caroline Feraday is more famous than Alice Evans. And that's really saying something.

At least I had heard of CF - Alice is famous now for being a lunatic bunny boiler - but that's about it. Still nobody I know has ever heard of her.
