I’d never heard of this woman until I saw her on (fellow-filterer) Lorna luxe’s live last night.

It took me ten minutes to work out that it was the same person as the one pictured on her grid?!

Clearly both her and Lorna went to the same school of chin-filtering. They both have entirely different heads in real life. Both purport to have had ED’s yet filter themselves to different sizes.

Women with chronically low self esteem and mental health issues, contributing wholly to the next generation of women with low self esteem and mental health issues! Well done.

It really is perversely fascinating that friends, colleagues, family members , brands , all seem to gloss over what is quite clearly the elephant in the room..but then I guess no one can challenge these women as that becomes bullying someone with MH issues.

Vaguely recall her saying she went through a bout of major digestive issues. She did lose a remarkable amount of weight at one point but it felt like she was only skinny for 6-9 months and suddenly she was right back to her usual larger frame.

She really is the master at cat fishing. She always shamelessly makes her face look so pretty and youthful. Very doe-eyed and girly like she’s going for a young Christy Turlington vibe which is why it’s so jarring when you see a more realistic pic of her

This 48th birthday selfie Alex posted is just so beauty filtered. It looks like the Hollywood filter from FaceApp
Especially around the mouth and chin. It’s blurred and smoothed out a lot.

Okay THIS actually really pisses me off. It’s one thing to use beauty filters - in fact it’s okay to use beauty filters - who doesn’t want to present a hotter version of themselves? - BUT when Alex posts blatantly beauty-filtered selfies and adds a caption to say she’s not using any filters when she so bleeping is, I am utterly appalled by her wilful dishonesty and the insult to our intelligence.

Is it just me that can see how heavily filtered she is here in her IG stories? Please let me know if you see it too. I mean. I just can’t with her LIES … I don’t understand outrageously, shamelessly dishonest people. I couldn’t bring myself to tell such whoppers.

Her boyfriend, Joe leaves comments like ‘looks great!’ Or ‘’ which is actually sweet and a boyfriend should be supportive. Clearly, he supports her abuse of beauty filters and cat fishing practise.

Believe it or not, I agree that she looks great at 48. Especially for a white woman. No hate to white women, I’m one, but our skin ages typically faster than black or Asian women. Alex has really good skin. No hyperpigmentation or barely any. It looks very healthy but she really goes nuts with those filters making herself look freakishly fresh-faced and dolphin-skinned with no natural human skin texture. Also the fact she drastically alters her face shape and creates hollow cheek bones that I certainly didn’t see when I saw in person.

Yeah, she’s tall. I’m 5’11” and she looked the same height when I spotted her on Westbourne Grove. She bloody loves a bronzer. She looked a little Oompa Loompa the day I saw her but lovely blemish free skin. But just more fine lines and natural skin laxity than her instagram suggested.
