These are just worlds apart from her Instagram content where she’s rocking a snatched, sharp, gaunt face with hollow cheekbones and a very dainty pointy chin.
You know what though? She really does have a pretty face. There's no question she has flawless skin that is blemish-free. Great eyebrows and very pretty eyes and such a dainty, straight nose. But she doesn't have the gaunt supermodel-shaped face she affects with filters and apps. But the aesthetic she presents on her Instagram gives a very misleading representation of her real-life physical appearance.

Are these recent photos or before she lost a lot of weight about 10 years ago? I know she filters her photos in a preposterous way but she used to be much heavier.
The images are from August 2021. Not that long ago. And you can see from a Hershesons video she did just 2-3 months ago, that her weight/physical stature hasn’t changed since these images. Think she’s consistently been a size 16-18 gal for a while now.
Thing I don’t understand about her is that if her chin bothers her that much, then why hasn’t she looked into surgical options? Her work means she’s surrounded by the best beauty professionals in the industry and I’m sure she would have access to the best surgeons who could assist. If it doesn’t bother her enough for that then I don’t get why she just doesn’t own it and use her natural face shape on Insta. Totally not saying she needs the surgery though, but if something bothered me that much then I’d be looking into it
I think that's occurred to many of us. It's painfully obvious that she can't seem to bear the sight of her own chin/jawline as it naturally is since she goes to repeated lengths to alter and perfect its shape on Instagram. She has mentioned a couple of times that she's terrified of any surgical procedures that require cutting into the skin which is understandable. I think she should own it. People underestimate how far confidence can take you and how much more attractive people will see you as if you hold yourself with confidence.
Someone on here once rightfully stated that Alex has a "perfectly lovely face". Alex's natural face is more attractive than most people I see on the street on a daily basis and ironically, it was all the heavy filtering and face editing that made me see her natural face as less desirable because I can't help but compare it to the highly retouched images of her face that she churns out regularly.
When you keep seeing someone with a remarkably youthful, gaunt, snatched, delicate, feline face and then suddenly you see a pic of her au naturel, the fuller cheeks and the heavier chin and jawline suddenly register in my mind as "bloated" or "chubby" whereas, before Alex went nuts with beauty filters and face editing, I used to think she had such a pretty face. I'm pleased to have learned from her mistakes and resisted the urge to filter and perfect my own photos. I'll use good lighting and I'll use apps to remove huge pink pimples when I'm about to have my period BUT I will not attempt to alter my natural features. I've seen how it makes people feel unpleasantly surprised and disappointed when they see you in person as you really are.

Not even a newborn babys face is this smooth, well maybe a bit, but at near 50 definitely not
The consistent difference from content that’s shot by third parties versus what she posts on her own IG … it’s just ridiculous. She’s just miraculously transformed into an incredibly fresh faced, skinny beauty in her own content but always rocking eye bags and a totally different jawline in promotional videos for Bicester Village or Hershesons
We are supposed to believe she has a naturally blurry jawline and she has absolutely no expression lines or pores when she’s turning 48 in 2 months.
I can’t with these ridiculously cheesy, narcissistic poses. Applying lipstick whilst looking UP at what exactly?! The corner of the ceiling? Why?! It’s like she’s always trying to look so sensual and it comes off a bit cringe.
No expression lines. Just 28 -32 year old, fresh, poreless, dewy skin on her IG

The video from which you got your screenshot actually made me think, she's a frustrated model. Alex's poses and general content strongly suggest that what she really wanted to be in life was a glamorous model not an ordinary "boring" beauty journalist. I get the feeling she actually just wants to be known as a raving beauty and a glamour puss. She's mentioned so many times how much she's obsessed with JLo and how she just wants to be JLo. She pours so much effort into producing very self-indulgent content. It's giving vanity project. I never feel like I'm focusing on the products she's meant to be discussing. It always feels like she's more concerned about looking young and hot rather than educating us properly on beauty products.
It's just another excuse to film a self-indulgent, cheesy montage of her face looking dreamily into the camera. The smouldering, pouting, and "making love to the camera" or as you put it "eye-bleeping" does give a lot of us the ick. It just doesn't suit her. It works for Bella Hadid. It doesn't work for matronly Steinherr.
The audacity of presenting this hyper-perfected version of herself every other day and vehemently denying she's edited her images. "I really do look like this!!!" Oh F*CK OFF, Alex! Because you f**king don't. The Bicester Village videos of Alex are so damning. They don't match the slim, young, hot woman she cat fishes us with on her own Instagram.
It's so bizarre to me how she seems so enamoured with her own face and yet she's clearly deeply insecure at the same time. She has to be insecure because she cannot bear to show us raw footage of herself without the ring lights and smoothing filters.
But the way she gazes into the camera, admiring herself so indulgently ... it's just cringeworthy. You haven't got a Maybelline or L'Oreal contract, Ms Steinherr.

I find her nauseating. She’s so unbelievably enamoured with her own face but in real life she’s not a hot babe, she’s just attractive. I genuinely don’t consider her a raving beauty. Saw her in person once and thought oh .. wow. Really not as hot as she presents herself to be on instagram.
I find her distorted & overfiltered face to look weird rather than hot. I think she looks so much better in the shots taken by others.
It's so awkward opening Instagram when I'm at work and seeing Alex's weird mouth close ups at the top of my page. I swear my colleagues must think I'm watching porn
