I have had to unfollow her , I can’t stand the way she films her videos anymore with the chin pointed directly into the camera it just really grates on me 
and don’t get me started on the over filtering or whatever she says it is…it is just complete false advertising of all the skincare/makeup she uses.

These extremely up-close videos are so annoying. I don't know why Alex irks me this much. I don't hate on any other influencers. Samantha Chapman, Nicola Chapman and Katie Jane Hughes can pose away in their make-up tutorials and I'm not triggered at all. I have no problem with Caroline Hirons or Sali Hughes even though they get a lot of hate on Tattle for various reasons that don't resonate with me. I actually pay very little attention to a lot of skincare and beauty "gurus" on Instagram but Alex's IG content always winds me up and yet, like a sickness, I feel compelled to snoop on her Instagram every day when I refuse to follow her which is bloody weird of me but I am just intrigued by what annoying, deceitful thing she will do next. I see Alex with her strange alien-shaped head because of the apps she's using and her vain, narcissistic poses on Instagram knowing in "real life" she has a very different energy / demeanour - she just grinds my gears but I am fascinated by the beauty filter abuse. It's compulsive viewing for me. She's such a shameless, cheeky catfish! I just think Alex is cringe. But bloody hell today's video was irritating to watch. The bottom half of her face gets edited to look ridiculous skinny and gaunt when we know she has a very round face and very chubby cheeks in "real life".
The lower-face editing/retouching is sooooo shamelessly deceitful. She will just thin that face out so much and expect nobody to comment on it. How? How is she not embarrassed to make her face this extremely gaunt and elongated when she'll rock up to her live chats with a chubby, round face and a wobbly double chin and expect NOBODY to notice?! It's so bloody weird! Strange thing is, she's mentioned on TikTok how she has a super round face and joked about how she wishes she had cheekbones and that she's prone to "softness" underneath her chin but shows up on IG looking gaunt and uber snatched.

She's maybe the only influencer I can think of who edits their pictures to make their nose look bigger. Either that or the editing on her lower face is so wild that it makes it look bigger by sheer force of proportion.
I still stand by my opinion that she looks better irl than her crazily edited pictures. I have no idea why she wants to fashion herself into some weird cross between a boiled egg and an inverted Toblerone.

I agree. I've always thought that she is stunning, but in her filtered photos she looks like a weird shiny clingfilmed alien.

I am convinced Alex writes/submits her own ‘Ask Alex’ questions.
Her eyebrow hairs are always a give away that the pictures have been stretched and blurred to hell and back, especially the front few hairs of each brow in all the photos.

Her real chin makes an appearance in her content from time to time.
Every time I see a pic of her fella, my eyes fixate on how dry his lips look. He's not taking her 'use nipple cream on your lips' advice.

No idea. I never tried it but that’s because I can’t face the chaos and queues inside Primark. I wonder how well her products actually sold. Wonder if I can find out Google how well her range did commercially.
