I totally agree I think it would have been useful for Alex to address that conflict instead of taking it personally. And also think it was a genuine question from somebody struggling with it as opposed to trying to be offensive.

I'm not sure why she shared it when she had no intention of answering the question. Obvs feeling fragile and fishing for some compliments
Obviously I'm in the minority lol but the reason I found it offensive is because if I was approaching anyone about this I'd probably phrase it differently like saying "I feel like I looked better before when I was thinner, do you have any tips for this?" rather than being like "you looked better before"
I do agree with you that the question wasn’t phrased in the best way. I just don’t think the intent was to dig at Alex.
Another excruciatingly awkward staged post of her seeing her new book apparently for the first time ...I noticed they've sent her a copy of one she has signed ? Odd ?? ... I get that it's a big moment but was it really necessary in the next slide to then put a link upto the amazon site with the 20% pre order ? making the moment less about how special the book is to her but more important that she cashes in on said important moment...

Hmm, I agree it was an awkward post but I don’t really have a problem with someone promoting their work. I guess it’s her only outlet to promote stuff and she must have spent a lot of time writing it so needs it to sell, which I understand.

I totally agree with you. There’s no way this person who messaged that would ever dare say it to Alex’s face, or would ever dream of saying the same to a friend or family member. The wording was so unnecessary. IMO, how could she expect Alex *not* to be offended?

I don't disagree except that's all her page is now..self promotion and tone deaf ads for expensive items all of which she is benefiting from as freebies and via affiliate links.
My point was more that it was supposedly such a special moment ( although why she needed to film it will dull Dave looking on like a bored parent !) why couldn't it just be that ..to tag on the link to amazon took away from it being special and just made it something else she wants to flog! I'm surprised she didn't do the story sat in one of her bikinis which she seems to be sneaking into all her posts recently!

I can’t quite get my head around her apparently being able to get the information about the call from the police. Feels like a potential safeguarding issue and breach of confidentiality, how would the call handler know that the woman hadn’t been calling the police about someone she knew and they were releasing information that was putting her in danger?
I agree I really don’t think the police would give this information out so freely.
What happened? I missed the initial post.
Alex said she was in a coffee shop engrossed in her work when a woman came and sat on the table next to her, she took no notice of her and continued working until she heard the woman talking on the phone about her, describing what she was wearing and Alex somehow ascertained the woman was on the phone to the police. She called Dave he came etc, they decided she was having a mental health episode. She then went home and called the police and said they told her the woman had reported Alex had been swearing at her. My comment was I don’t think the police would have given out this info, Alex could have been anyone calling.
Just to add Alex has now decided said woman was reading her computer screen which had personal information about her and her SM etc sooooo she now no longer feels comfortable sharing where they have moved tooo !
It's some huge house that she says they have been renovating for quite some time with a big garden for Betty, given current circumstances for most people struggling to pay bills her showing off her new mansion is probably not going to go down well and shes clever enough to know it!

it usually is ! The girl could've been talking to anyone on the phone, what proof was there it was actually the police? Plus Alex loves the drama ...knowing someone is reading your screen why would you not move it or is it just a case of to add to the drama she's assumed the girl was looking at her screen ? There is absolutely nooo way that the police would give information like that out over the phone without proof of who they are speaking too.
I agree that she’s using this incident as an excuse to not show their new place!
