guaranteed this weird bag will be Alex's next purchase. 🤢

she's purposefully concealed the price, but it costs over £3,000. she's probably hoping to be gifted one. otherwise give it a week, and it will be another situation where it just starts casually showing up in her stories, with her not mentioning it, supposedly because she doesn't want to flaunt her privilege. 🙄🙄

Is it me or the whole immature persona she creates is just weird. Like crying for hours leaving your parents and saying you're not comfortable on your own at the airport. She's 34! That's just bizarre.

It's all an act. She's hard-core sly and manipulative. She plays the dizzy daft child because it's suits her sales pitch but that's all it is ..a means to increase sales. She knows exactly what she is doing. Dull Dave would be long gone if he had to deal with her childish antics daily..all for the gram attention and the money.

ah, a new post advertising her swimwear collection, attempting to lure people into buying from her brand because she is oh so kindly giving them 30% off - yet all under the guise of a "body positivity" post, with Alex posing in her light lnd bikini range, and with a caption about how she used to hate how she looked but then realised she didn't hate how she looked, she hate how she *thought*she looked, and the problem was in her mind, not her body. her thoughts needed changing, she didn't need to lose weight!

pretty low to compose an entire paragraph all about how to feel comfortable in your own body, followed by a "btw, why not come waste the money you need to afford food and heating! especially because - out of the goodness of my own heart, and not because I desperately want more people to buy my products and line my pockets - i have kindly discounted everything by 30% as a way to manipulate you into panic buying, because you don't want to miss out on such a generous offer, when in reality it's just an attempt to sell leftover stock that isn't likely to sell during the winter! Alex is fully aware that very few people are as privileged as her, and going abroad on holiday multiple times each month - thus don't need bikinis! she could just be honest about her true motivation behind the sale on her website - but why do that when she knows she can lure people in with her body confidence bull and manipulate them into buying overpriced bikini tops and sarongs so that she can afford to treat herself to that hideous designer rat bag! 😡

I've reported her, absolutely disgusting that she is using eating disorders and body confidence issues as a sales pitch for her clothing range. She should be ashamed.

I was a big fan of Should I Delete That because Em teaches me a lot and they have great guests. I'm going to have to start giving it a miss because Alex is driving me up the wall with the ditzy persona and that dorky laugh/ snort she puts on. She never has anything insightful to say so she just plays the baffoon to feel like she's adding something. Grow up hun you're 34, if you don't have original contributions to make in this space then just go and do something else instead of dragging it down

Also they were talking on the podcast today about how wrong it is that some people 'troll' content creators, esp. on gossip forums (ie this one) and some influencers are 'victim' to it more than others (dare I say they are talking about Lottie Drynan where the channel thrives 😅) and how ridiculous that is when we should be focusing our anger on the people truly in the wrong like those with political power and ceos of energy companies etc. Some thoughts about this:
1. How do they know that people who vent their frustrations on here don't also do their bit to hold politicians, MPs etc to account? They are assuming that everyone on here is disengaged, apathetic, stupid just because we disagree with the content creators. I, for one, go to protests, have written letters to my MP and volunteer. I'm sure lots of others do the same. You can disagree with more than one thing
2. They were complaining about having more negative comments on their content. Does someone need to tell them that receiving feedback is part of doing a job and more importantly doing a job well. 'normal' jobs involve asking for and acting on feedback so why should they be above it? Yes, it might be worded as 'construcively' on social media as it is at work, but that's what you should expect if your whole job revolves around said social media
3. Alex said followers/ commenters should 'ask themselves why they find something triggering' before going on to express a negative opinion. Well, hun, I'd turn that right back round on you and tell yourself to ask that when you want to immediately backlash against those who express anything other than a wholly praise-based gushy response. Is it because you're insecure and living in fear or becoming outdated as you realise all your content is recycled from other people?
4. They were complaining about reels changing the way people interact with social media and meaning that more people who aren't an obsessed follower engage with their content and write comments. Social media is changing, Old school influences like Alex are becoming increasingly more irrelevant. In any job you need to reskill to stay current. How about trying to change and learn instead of taking it out on other people
Finally. Other people are allowed to disagree with you. Why does Alex always think her viewpoint is the 'correct' one. I agree with her on some things and disagree on others, I should be allowed to express that in the comments. It encourages discussion and debate. If you can't handle it, get another job

I listened to the first podcast episode in ages today because I quite wanted to hear the lady they had on talk about how she not only survived being jilted at the alter but seems to be flourishing (I would definitely listen to her speak again- her strength and outlook on the situation was quite something). But I almost didn’t make it to the interview segment as the first hour was so indulgent with the two of them doing a fine thing of demonstrating confirmation bias and how an echo chamber works on all the topics you identify above. Was also not impressed with Alex doing faux ditzy ‘who’s Robert Dyas’ (which is a relatively well known iron monger shop in London and the SE). Don’t think I’ll be returning to the podcast.

Oh I *always* skip the first half an hour of the podcast and just listen to the interview. Something about the way Alex says ‘what I’m wondering…’ whenever she asks a question really rubs me the wrong way. Just ask the question 😱

Is there a reason she is incapable of labeling the daily posts, on her personal Instagram, for her overpriced prison wear / dull lounge wear as an ad ? It's as if the rules don't apply to her 🙄

I have listened to most of the podcast episodes, but these days can barely stomach listening to Alex. If she’s acting, her bid to come across as thick as tit is working. I cannot believe how stupid some of the things she says are. If that’s her true intelligence level, god her help her. She also never listens properly to anything Em says in their chats before the interview, which leads to her asking the dumbest questions. Bloody hell I’m fed up of her 🥴

Accidentally bought 16 bottles of soy sauce and thought it was the same price as one bottle. I don’t know if I’m being pedantic, but to me that just screams rich privilege when there’s so many people who are going to be struggling financially this coming winter.
It also screams someone who has decided acting thick as tit is funny. She isn't funny. And the fact she thinks it's funny to story how stupid she behaves is incredibly sad. What does she imagine people are thinking when she posts her ridiculous behaviour! No one accidentally orders 16 bottles of sauce and thinks that's the price of 1.

"i just didn't understand tunnels. like....we went through a tunnel and i didn't understand and my dad tried really hard. to explain the concept multiple times and would always end up frustrated because I didn't understand and I would end up crying and i just didn't get it". 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

okay yeah, she was a kid. whatever. quite possibly her dad once had to explain to three year-old Alex the concept of a tunnel - but it's incredibly obvious that she is blowing the whole thing hugely out of proportion to push the "ditzy dumb blonde" persona. it's all just pointless, mindless drivel. 🙄

exactly the same with the totally contrived 16 bottles of soy sauce "accident". like sure, Alex. unless she happily spent like, £20+ thinking she was buying one bottle of soy sauce - in which case she is a wasteful, privileged idiot - there is absolutely no way she "accidentally" ended up buying 16 bottles when she thought she was buying one. it's all so fake and all for content, and i genuinely don't understand what she's hoping to gain, or thinks she is achieving, out of pretending to be a total airhead. same with the whole heatless curl routine. does she think it's funny? does she think that pretending she has the intelligence level of a spade is somehow more appealing? 🤦🏻‍♀️

oh and Alex, wild idea but if those bottles of soy sauce are gonna go out of date and you have no intention of using them all, go flaunt your privilege and donate them to a food bank. you could even use it as content to hugh your kind, generous, selfless personality. 👌🏻🤣

Another classic from the podcast "reinventing the wheelhouse".. *waits for Em to laugh and correct her but she doesnt* so Alex says again "oh oh oh wait is that right? Is that right? Maybe it's reinventing the wheel". Quite clearly knew it was that before she even said it the first time

Might be an unpopular opinion but if a doctor who studied the human body for 10 years before getting his licence tells you to loose weight it's probably because you need to loose weight. They couldn't care less about large phobia.

Came to day the same. Slagging off doctors isn't a good look Alex.
