yeah, definitely well-known slang in the UK too. what's worse is she started using the term when she initially had her hair cut, supposedly as a word she created to describe a mid-length fringe - thus a "minge" - yet she's still desperately using the term because she thinks it's hilarious and edgy, despite allowing her mum to hack her hair into a regular-length fringe, so it's no longer relevant. she didn't start a quirky new trend, as she obviously hoped she would, and really needs to move on, because it's kinda cringe.OK yeah, she is just trying to be funny and quirky so! I did laugh at her reel for F&F clothing. "Let's talk affordable fashion.." or some rit and then in the very next story she was wearing her Prada denim jacket again.

Had to come here when I saw she was advertising impulse body spray- has anyone past the age of 13/14 worn it?!
wow. i am actually embarrassed for her. the fact she's advertising impulse spray is beyond cringe - and it's hardly surprising her post has so few likes in comparison to her usual posts, as it's not really the type of product that is aimed at her target audience. those impulse sprays give me proper 90s throwback vibes, because they are body sprays used by pre-teens - not women in their 20s and 30s. as a teenager, i remember being totally gutted when their illusions scent was discontinued!
there is no way in hell that Alex is buying herself a prada jacket and expensive dresses, yet using a £2 body spray as her fragrance of choice! as if she throws an impulse body spray in her bag after dressing up to attend a fancy event! totally unrelatable and unbelievable and it just shows, yet again, how she's totally happy to be dishonest. the side of her femininity that she has failed to mention yet is so happy to embrace is her dishonest side, which is the version of Alex that is revealed each time she shares yet another disingenuous ad!
it's a shame impulse don't sell a body spray called "privileged"! that or "desperation" would be perfect for Alex!She's not even following impulse spray insta page lol. Like if you advertise it and like it so much the least you can do is follow them ?
I sprayed Impulse today purely because my bf said I smelt of BO and my mum had got me it in a Xmas box 6 years ago and I’ve run out of my current perfume
ah, Alex plans to post an update on her medication and the withdrawal process as how difficult she has found it etc etc. absolutely nobody needs to know her own personal experiences, especially when they are obviously negative as it could deter them from starting taking meds that may be necessary for fear of future withdrawal symptoms/side effects/the fact that Alex has decided that anti-depressants are not longer beneficial for her. and it seems incredibly hypocritical, especially after ranting and complaining when people dared to respond to her own question about their own negative withdrawal experiences when she only wanted positivity and encouragment, and she specifically stated that she would never share any negative symptoms with other people, yet she's clearly going to be moaning and whinging! she's not qualified to be giving out advice about medication, and with her having such a huge, public platform with an audience of vulnerable followers, she needs to take responsibility to just keep it to herself! 
Is it just me that doesn't get her popularity. I only came across her content via Em Clarkson who I love but Alexs post are so unoriginal and just reiterate ideas that have been circulated so many times before. Her account is so unbelievably boring, I don't get how she has so many followers. On her podcast with Em she was talking about not intervening when someone on the train was talking diet culture crap... I was thinking errr that's your whole life's work and career that you're supposedly an expert on and have published a book on, why would you just sit there and agree. If she's a trailblazer in this field you'd expect her to at least politely express opposition to it. She's just capitalizing on other people's ideas and not following through when it's challenging to do so

🤌exactly this! it's only a few weeks ago she was supposedly revealing that she had bought herself that prada denim jacket within days of mentioning it, yet had decided to keep quiet about it because she is aware of her privilege and didn't want to show it off when so many people are struggling with finances etc etc - yet ever since, she's worn it at every possible opportunity; the very definition of rubbing people's faces in it!
and now she's bragging about being on holiday in Cyprus literally days after returning from a gifted holiday to New York! so not only is she lucky enough to receive a freebie trip to the US, she can also afford a holiday to Cyprus, and is sharing every moment - despite previously pretending she was concerned about how other people would react to her spending, and was trying it be sensitive to those struggling to afford heating and food! she genuinely doesn't give a duck she's selfish and spoilt - and i still cannot get over how she's so comfortable lying when it benefits her! she has absolutely no shame. it's proper shady that when she wants to get deals with brands, she is happy to fabricate stories about being bullied at school for her "footballer legs" - to earn herself that as with gillette - and her blatant dishonesty about how she uses a tween body spray to get work creating an ad with impulse!
