Just got lots of goodies from Aldi including dark choc covered orange slices, caramelised nuts and blonde choc marshmallow brownie bites. They were all in the middle aisle. Taste tested all of it as soon as I got home, all of them are really nice except the brownie bite which don’t really taste of anything.

I also got the hazelnut cream and it’s like crack, I honestly could eat the whole jar in one go. Im not buying it again it’s sooo good and im trying to watch my weight 😂

looked for the mac and cheese but couldn’t see it. Stocked up on pasta sauces and curry spice pots as well as the usual meat/veg etc.
The brownie bites are getting terrible reviews. Which is a shame as they look good!

They look fab but they are rubbish. I’ve just tried another one and the brownie tastes stale and there’s no chocolate taste despite it basically being a chocolate dipped choc brownie 😂

We had the Aldi SS vintage cheddar cheese pour over sauce the other night and it was absolutely vile. Tasted like pure vinegar. 🤢 I heated it low and slow in a pan so I don’t think I did anything that would have affected it. It was just gross. Never had a cheese sauce taste like that before. Maybe my palette isn’t refined enough 😂

I bought this yesterday, how does one eat it, on toast?
There were 2 varieties, white chocolate or a blended one, I chose blended ( it looks both white & chocolate from the bottom)

I can't find the pistachio one. I got the hazelnut ones from both Aldi and Lidl but the pistachio seems to get snapped up here. Shame, as I adore anything pistachio.

I've got a pistachio one from Lidl from the previous drop. Not in your face taste wise so I'm not addicted like the Tattlers who recommended it. So maybe the hazelnut one is the "crack" version. 🤔

I put it on a slice on Pandoro! But normally will have it on a slice of Panettone 😍 I got the dark chocolate one but bet the white chocolate one is amazing too!

ETA picture of the one I bought in case it’s helpful for anyone else

I'm loving the positivity of those who won't just use a spoon and demolish the entire jar 🤣🤣🤣

For a split second last night I thought about throwing the whole jar away, plus all the spoons in my house for my own good.

Sadly I did not. 🙃

has anyone bought an aldi airfryer and have any useful feedback?
Yes, me, twice! I got their basic cheapie one about 4 years ago and it's been fine, no complaints at all with it. Upgraded to the dual basket one about a month ago and again no complaints apart from a bit of a plasticky smell at first despite washing everything before use. (I Googled this and apparently it's quite common with all air fryers even Ninjas, and the recommendation is to run it on full heat with no food in for 15-20 mins). The smell disappeared pretty quickly and again I have to say I'm happy with it.... I was very tempted by the Ninja stacking dual basket one because my kitchen is quite small, but glad I didn't as the Aldi one was less than half the price and is fine.

I have the one drawer one (can’t remember the size but it’s a big can fit a whole chicken) no complaints at all, easy to clean, had it about a year no issues at all 😊

I bought the small one a few years ago and now keep it just for doing boiled eggs and for when travelling.
I've upgraded to a bigger one from another company and wish I'd waited for the Aldi bigger ones. 😥
I have to put up with listening to a relative raving about theirs now. 🙄
