I feel like I want to share my favourite Zara scent but also scared it’ll never be in stock again 🤣. But I’ll be nice and tell you fields at nightfall is 😍

Has anyone tried the high protein ice cream tubs from Lidl? I'm really craving peanut butter ice cream (RIP the Haagen Dazs one) and that's the only one I've found. I went through a Halo Top phase when they first came out, but they are just pumped full of air and junk really, so I'd rather try to avoid similar.

If you don't like halo top then I don't think the Lidl's one will appeal to you either. Not really sure what you mean by junk and air 😊

I like Aldi chocolate brownie one for low kcal ice creams

I lost you all! I hate it when the thread closes and it doesn't remain in your watched list.

I got one of the double pain au chocolats the other day. Guess what it was like? I have no idea because I put i in the breadbin and forgot all about it until I found it this morning. 🥺

I got a free Lidl brownie - have bought them before for my children but always strongly resisted. The children are away this week though so obviously I was forced to eat it - omfg it was incredible.

So fudgy and delicious.

And I make my own the whole time so consider myself quite a brownie specialist.

If you're worried about junk make it yourself. 1 tub double cream some condensed milk then add your flavourings. I know it's annoying when someone says make it yourself but it really is simple. 2 mins tops then freeze. The condensed milk stops crystals forming so no need to whisk again.

I'm seriously considering making more stuff from scratch due to the amount of strange ingredients in food...... and rapeseed oil!

Other than that has anyone else noticed the lack of food in Aldi especially eggs and veg?

I made some following a recipe for coffee ice cream from ASDA. It was surprisingly easy.
The other half of the condensed milk was used in rice pudding!

My local Lidl is out of the Madagascan dark chocolate which, in case anyone doesn’t know, is the absolute Rolls Royce of dark choc. This disaster has never happened before.

Some chef mentioned it in a Times article a few weeks ago and I was sad the carpet was out of the bag. I wonder if it’s also to do with chocolate prices going up.

Tragedy, quite honestly. I made a special journey to Lidl just for that.

Can this be eaten on its own or just for baking? Trying to find a dark choc that tastes good

I only eat it on its own. I order Belgian stuff online for baking - honestly the Lidl stuff is too good to waste in baking.

This is the best dark choc I’ve found - honestly I’ve compared it to all sorts of high end chocs from single bean estates blah blah. It is the best!

I really like the Aldi Moser Roth Sea Salt Dark Chocolate. It's very creamy but rich with the right amount of salt. Really annoyed they discontinued the vegan blonde chocolate, that was my favourite.

Tattle influenced as always I plodded off to Lidl this morning and managed to bag a double pain au choc for my mid morning treat. No lemon cake or dark chocolate though

I got my dog some salmon from Iceland yesterday for training. He is super fussy and spits out a lot of treats. He seems to really like the salmon does anyone have suggestions where I can get it quite cheap? Doesn't matter about the quality

Depending when you go to Aldi I often get it 30% off early morning and cook and freeze it. I don't think there is any cheap salmon anymore. Asda wild salmon is £10.69 kg whilst Iceland is £10.30. I eat lots of salmon so do notice how much it is.

Just a heads up in Aldi, that the handbag perfumes are coming in on Sunday, one is supposed to be a Black Opium dupe the other Caroline Herra, l think. And a few moisturizers, for under eye and face
Also they are launching a new eyelash growth serum that's supposed to be a dupe of Rapid Lash, will be interesting to see how that goes. I've loved the LiLash serum for years but it's pricey at over 100 quid.

Also love their salted Caramel Yoghurts, delicious 😋
