Couldn’t find any Ritter chocolate in my Lidl either 😩

Also don’t know if anyone else remembers the really good praline filled mini chocolates eggs last Easter but they were nowhere to be found either.
If you mean the ones with the smooth filling that come in hazelnut and almond varieties they're definitely back as I stocked up when I spotted them this week. They are DIVINE. I bought 6 packs to last me a while but already feel the need to buy more and build a stash 😅

They were also around at Christmas but as 'pinecones' (exactly the same, though).

thanks for the feedback, appreciate it :)
All the staff in my local Aldi are lovely especially my favourite young man on the check out who I will wait in a Q for. He is quite patient with everyone and always has a quick chat whilst he is scanning. Having said that I do pack quickly and have my card ready.:D I know how Aldi works.

I'm loving my air fryer but I am still getting to grips with it and trying not to rinse Iceland constantly. Going to give your tip a go later though. Thank you so much.
Buy the skin on fries from Aldi and do them in the air fryer. Next level oven chips.

Lidl has the most incredible chocolate mousse in right now and you all need to go and get some! It’s in a big clear plastic container and it’s called Milk & Dark Belgian chocolate mousse or similar and it’s great.
I am literally sending my husband back today to get more.

Yeah I’ve found this with Aldi too. Cottage cheese I’m sure we around 65/75p bought it yesterday and it was £1.25 or thereabouts!!

The milk, dark and white chocolate florentines from Lidl are incredible btw. I hid them from my family and ate them secretly over the course of a week and honestly they’re amazing.

Can you please tell me where to find these - are they in the regular crisp aisle or the middle aisle. We have just spent 5 mins looking for them, what colour is the packet ? Thanks.
I found this picture online so I’m guessing this is what you’re looking for! Probably a bit late now haha

Pretty annoyed with both Lidl and my boyfriend over cottage cheese. He came back with 4 tubs where you could see the lid was bulging. They were off despite having a couple of weeks before they expired. Something's gone wrong with their storage, and it happens a fair amount there.

It's not even the good old days of last year when cottage cheese was 60p a tub, it's now £1.50!

Spanish week at Lidl and the tomato frito (tomato and onion sauce in jars - it's like passata but better) is amazing. I use it for pasta sauces and highly recommend.

They're okay. Not terrible, but not as strong as I'd like (like you I like my tea strong) I think branded tea, Heinz ketchup and regular Coca Cola are probably the three branded things that I just won't compromise on.
I'm Heinz through and through for beans and ketchup but try the Polish brand of ketchup - you can get it in the world food section of most supermarkets. The brand is called Pudliszki but I think its owned by Heinz/Kraft. Only about £1.20 a bottle x

I decided to treat myself and go to the posh Aldi today. It was lovely and peaceful and the service was amazing. Felt like I was in Harrods!
I didn't have to rush at the self service till which seemed to annoy the voice on the till. It kept chivvying me along.
I also found out it charges you full price if it has a 39%iff type label on it.
The assistant came running up when he noticed the stickers so I didn't lose out this time. The dates were long on the reduced stuff, as with it being a posh area no one wants to buy coleslaw that looks like someone has sat on it. 😄
Someone had obviously been snacking on those nuts you recommended previously, as when I picked up the last bag the last few nuts fell out. 😁

Forgot to mention butter is down 10p in Aldi today. Now £1.89.

Sorry if these have been mentioned already as I’ve not been on this thread for a while but picked these up in Aldi today and they’re absolutely gorgeous

My local Lidl finally has the triple cooked chips back in stock after a six month(!) absence. They had the cheek to label them as 'new', like I've not been wistfully checking the freezers every trip since last July 😂
