The build your own car, dinosaur, house, aeroplane magazine they advertise every new year, first part 99p, then 3,000 more to collect for £1,000 every week at newsagents now (exaggerating a bit but get my drift) 😂

The Wickes kitchen "housebarrassment" adverts... it encourages that "Keeping up with the Joneses" attitude. Not to mention the annoying guy inviting himself round to his mates house.

There’s a fb page about Wickes complaints. Some of the stories make the housebarrassment kitchen look ok

my husband is the only person I know who has committed to this. He bought the Marvel hard book comic collection for 99p and now we have over 250 hard back graphic novels.

The birdwatch one with the annoying kid shouting out 'blue tit'. He has a voice only a mother could love.

The one where they decide on a cheap cremation and when they’ve gone the family are all having a laugh and a glass of wine and a cupcake. Savage.

That one with the "Tooth Fairy" - it's about 5 minutes long, charmless, and revolting when she brings out a box of teeth.

The one about climate change or something where they have a bunch of children badly singing ‘what a wonderful world’.

I was only born in the 80s so don’t remember this, but in the 90s there were adverts around guy fawkes with 2girls who saw an apparently good looking guy, then he turns around and they saw the other half of his face that had basically been blown off. Not sure at what point they stopped them but I would never set off fireworks myself or go anywhere near them
The one from the late 90s ‘Julie knew her killer’. Always remember that one. They don’t do a good public information film anymore *sigh*

Ha I literally just came on here to say that rit advert.
I don't have kids. I won't have. Surely not having kids is the best thing for the environment.

"Oooooh you've got an alarm already?"

"Ooooh yes. What with a new neighbourhood, the big windows and a garden!"
