Anyone else being sent barmy by those chronically naff Step One adverts, of which the Aussies are very generously sending us a new one every week?

Worst of all of them so far has to be the big bloke wearing his (complete with the elastic pouch, UGH cringe! :sick:), the ensemble completed with a too-tight tshirt, socks and sliders............................................................... 😡

And another lot. Calgon's series of terribly naff, badly dubbed efforts done by the local infants school in Berlin or somewhere. FGS WHY dub these ads when they could simply add a soundtrack in the appropriate language?

Binged Ipcress Files on itv hub and every ad break was a young lad getting his mums car and going to Mcds. Playing Westlife on way home. All I could think through this annoying ad was ‘I’m in me mums car. Vroom vroom’

I'm actually incredibly surprised they used real tweets. Presumed they were all made up.
I'm conflicted about Claudia Winkleman. I quite like her but she irritates me to death. And I can't watch her. So not that conflicted then.

Claudia seems OK to me, pârticularly when you factor in who her Mother is. Eve Pollard, she who put the fear of God into everyone!! :)

The advert that plays in vue cinemas before every film with John Boyega... it feels likes it goes on forever and I just want the film to start.

The Navy advert, the one appealing to women, it’s the “music” 😳 and shite rapping. The always advert with her who plays tennis, the way she says “side barriers” 😳 and that gonk who does the Asda advert, blow ya 🤬 nose. And the building society one with that Brummie chap, gawd he’s so flicking boring! And that condescending Capri Sun carton, “colours and preservatives? I have none of these”. 😡

I actually don’t mind Claudia herself, although I am finding her radio show on Saturday morning a hard listen. She tried to hard to be funny, every now and then she comes out with a corker, but a lot feels laboured. I thought the ad campaign was quite clever, it played into her self deprecating image.

I don’t like any ad with Phillip Schofield in it.
