I wonder if the ex had to sign a NDA or she is heavily compensated for her silence, she must have so much dirt on how badly he treated her. Him and Holly are swanning round the F1 circuit while she is looking after the elderly in a nursing home and studying to be a nurse.

I think she’s probably just normal and sensible and wants to stay well out of it. Any mother with half a brain would realise antagonising her baby daddy and dragging his name through the muck in the press was not going to be in her child’s best interests. She seems to be doing a very careful balancing act of staying on good terms with Adam and his family.

She seems to be the only person in this sorry saga with a modicum of sense.

I know his family have been messy in talking to the press but it will always be funny AF to me that he is behaving like the Ramseys BFF's son, Brooklyn... insta name change and all.

He's notorious for cheating on Tana with a multitude of other women, then giving her another baby when she finds out. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the public indecency in the men's toilet really was just drunk idiots larking about and nothing sexual. I don't think he's gay or even bi, just an utterly selfish, egotistical prick who expects his wife to revolve solely around him and his wants, while also thinking he has the right to screw any woman he fancies.

He did an interview in Australia with a well known and respected female journalist. Everything seemed to go well and the interview was fine. The next day, at some convention/meet and greet thing he was having, he called the journo Miss Piggy, implied she was a lesbian and made a lot of nasty jokes about her to the crowd. Seemingly all because she'd done her job professionally and not fawned all over him and his ego couldn't hack it. He's a vile little man.

The poor little fella looks totally overwhelmed, very understandably. And I can't help thinking how useless some men are. If there was a woman there, they would have his little shirt tucked in, reassured him, and had his shoelace tied in twenty seconds flat. He must have been so uncomfortable, surrounded by those security guys and I presume lots of noise, and crowds too. All for show. Fecking hell.

I hadn't really paid too much attention to this situation - I thought just another family drama caused when someone gets involved in a family with money (which it is) but when you actually look into it you realize how much of this is caused by Adam himself.

The original family fallout occured when he decided to include his brother's mental health struggles and history of drug use in his book to sell copies, after James started speaking to him again Adam asked him to help renovate his home which he agreed to and then they fell out again professionally (not too many details why). Then when his brother went through one of the hardest times of his life, the loss of his son, Adam skipped his nephews funeral to attend a wedding. Not the wedding of a friend of his, the wedding of a friend of Holly who, at this point, Adam had been publicly dating for a couple of months.

I'd say the relationship with the family was on its last legs from this point and the situation around the wedding was the last straw. What we know about the arrest is that James sent some angry text messages to Adam when he was on his stag do (which James had not been invited to). Adam sent these to Holly who showed them to her mother who shows them to Megan, Holly's sister who is a metropolitan police officer. Holly then made a complaint to the police which resulted in 5 police officers attending at the airport to ensure Adam's 'safety'. Which is complete overkill. James was then arrested on suspicion of harassment and had the case hanging over his head for nine months (so far) although it seems a NFA is coming soon. The public narrative is that this is because their sister has recanted her statement. However, for there to be harassment it would have been in the communications that James sent to Adam which the police have had since before the arrest was made. The fact it has dragged on for nine months can only be due to pressure being put on the police to keep the case going - harassment cases do not take this long to result in charges.

So whilst Adam is crying about how all these outside issues that were not of his doing have caused his bad run of form - it is clear everything that has occured is due to Adam and decisions that he made.

If I was James I would be writing up the SAR and will be sending it as soon as the NFA comes through - before any paperwork gets lost or destroyed.

To be fair to them, if his family hadn’t kicked off and made a whole circus of the thing there would probably have been a couple of paps, a handful of fans and a few passers by. I doubt many people were even aware they were getting married let alone where or when until the Peaty’s kicked off.

I also liked the Daily Mail tagline ‘Caroline Peaty has received ni payment for this story’.

They might as well have added in bold underneath ‘BUT HER HUSBAND HAS’.

As Greg Rutherford said you get to a point as an athlete where you have to admit you are starting to age. Other younger athletes are going to come through and be better than you. It's hard to take but part of life. He's been out for two years too nd is older. He's not necessarily going to be top dog anymore. Plus maybe the bulked up physique won't work in his favour now. I can't get over that Scottish swimmer with terminal brain cancer just getting stuck in and carrying on. What a guy! More of him please and less of this Muppet feeling sorry for himself

Exactly, and at what point does it stop being about ‘she drove him to swimming at 4am every day’? Like okay great, I’m sure he is grateful for that, and if he isnt then he really is a twat, but at some point they need to get over it. Pippa was a bridesmaid so Kate chose the cream dresses. All the bridesmaids wore cream. It’s not a matter of being mistaken for the bride, it’s that a MIL wearing white/cream is signalling that she sees herself as a competitor with the bride for her sons attention and affection and is prepared to go to start off her son’s married life by being rude to the woman he is marrying.

You’re being disingenuous pretending that you don’t know it’s not done for guests to wear white to a wedding, It’s an accepted cultural standard which is universal in the western world. Like wearing black to a funeral and not wearing tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie to a black tie event. Everyone knows.

Totally agree with this. And Holly is also slim and pretty too - I’ve seen some comments on here saying she’s “unfortunate” looking and I really can’t see it at all, I think she’s had too much work done to her face too young which has aged her but she’s certainly not unattractive.
