Also the bubbles were going which wouldn’t have helpedYup, when bodies die, the muscles relax and that would have been some bodily fluids released into the water. It isn't nice but it's what bodies do when they die. There would also be decomp depending on how long he was actually there.

The last time the housekeeper heard from him was 2 a.m. on Friday morning and it was sometime on Saturday morning, his housekeeper found him so he would have been in the water for 30+ hours.
