I slept in till 10.30am after my first night out socialising in absolutely ages.
My son wanted me to play with him tonight and I made a huge effort to really engage with him despite being in pain with a bad back and we had great fun playing Paw Patrol and dinosaurs!
I’ve got the house to myself tomorrow and I’m hoping to be really productive in the morning and then have a great rest in the afternoon.
1 my cat who had disappeared for 3 days finally came back, so relieved
2. the godawful new episode of satc
3 got my other cat a new toy which he loves, so cute watching him play
I seem to only post here when I’ve had a tough day but why break the habit of a life time…
1) My son was running on some grass and came over to give me a flower he’d picked - it was a daisy and he’s called it a daisydelion all afternoon.
2) My dad noticed me having a breakdown when we were out today as my son just wouldn’t listen for the millionth time that hour and he took him to one side to give me some time to calm down.
3) My 2 year old nephew kept trying to say my name (which can be tricky for little ones to pronounce) and it was really cute hearing his attempts. He also said he really liked me.
1 - I went for a lovely walk that helped to clear my head
2 - I've enjoyed doing some diamond painting today
3 - I saw loads of birds when I went down by the river, dozens of them, it was so nice.
1. Took all the Xmas decorations down. As much as I love Xmas it is great getting rhe house back to normal
2. Had banging eggs benedict for breakfast
3. My nightly call with my mum and sister
1) Despite my husband being stuck in isolation, my mother in law still asked me and my son round for Sunday dinner this afternoon and it was delicious.
2) I got cuddles off my parents new puppy.
3) My dad provided me with a great contact who might be able to help with my son’s behaviour and emotions and it was like he was giving me a million pounds. Just the thought of the help she could give gave so much light to the darkness!
1) Not felt well all week and woke up today feeling brighter.
2) Did a 30 min class on my peloton.
3) Took the Christmas tree down and Christmas decorations so house is feeling tidy and less cluttered.
1. Found out today that my favourite exercise class is coming back for in person classes from next week (I'm not a gym bunny at all but this class is so fun!)
2. My breakfast was lush
3. Watched Big fat quiz of the year and it made me laugh
