Loved scoubidous! Some people made a proper business out of selling them at school, wish I was that entrepreneurial 😂

Also scented gel pens - people always used to suck on them and the ink would get everywhere - why!

YES I loved these!

Do kids still go mad for gel pens like we did - I have no idea?!

I like the new tippex tech. They have a strip version now and not just the liquid stuff we had. Doesn't soak through the paper.

Remember when kids would sniff tippex and permanent markers to look edgy

I used to work at La Senza in the early 00s and they had these pink scented beads which we sprinkled into the bag with the purchase and also sold them in pouches as drawer scents. When I was on opening shifts, it was nice coming in and having this scent filling the store.

I loved La Senza, we’re missing a lingerie shop like that now, Boux Avenue (if that still exists) wasn’t as good.

Mel from My Parents Are Aliens came up on my fyp on Tik Tok and I saw this. My first thought was Trent as he was much older and everyone else met happily for the reunion recently

She does have another video where she says positive stuff about MPAA if that helps. She’s barely aged
Yay! She seemed so similar to her character with all the alt stuff. Shame she didn't get much TV work in adulthood.

In other news

2 decades!

Am I wrong in saying that the 2000s were way inferior to the 90s when it came to the family time slot tv shows?

Nothing replaced the star trek shows like next generation, voyager and deep space nine, the simpsons, the x-files and the fresh prince of bel air. Those were shows that kept you watching even if you caught single episodes.

To me the 90s was the golden decade of tv. But maybe I'm just biased to the decade of my childhood lol.

You mentioning The Simpsons and Fresh Prince makes me think of BBC2 at 6PM in the early noughties

Although it wasn’t a series as such the original Gladiators was the best. I can’t believe, with way gym clothing has moved on over the last 25+ years, how crap the costumes are every time they’ve tried to bring it back compared to the old ones.

I think Gladiators is probably the best show they have right now for a whole family to watch. My 8 year old niece loves it
