I really miss the magazines! I was a young adult in the early 00s and I was still really into the mags. They were still affordable and stll had content that was more than just 95% ads.

Sometimes I find myself craving to have decent adult versions of those magazines for now, that don't require me to remortage the house to purchase even one. The internet is just not as satisfying as print media.
I loved magazines too!!

Todays kids will never know the joy of reading the agony aunt stuff and cringe moments

Am I wrong in saying that the 2000s were way inferior to the 90s when it came to the family time slot tv shows?

Nothing replaced the star trek shows like next generation, voyager and deep space nine, the simpsons, the x-files and the fresh prince of bel air. Those were shows that kept you watching even if you caught single episodes.

To me the 90s was the golden decade of tv. But maybe I'm just biased to the decade of my childhood lol.
You mentioning The Simpsons and Fresh Prince makes me think of BBC2 at 6PM in the early noughties

Loved scoubidous! Some people made a proper business out of selling them at school, wish I was that entrepreneurial 😂

Also scented gel pens - people always used to suck on them and the ink would get everywhere - why!
YES I loved these!

Do kids still go mad for gel pens like we did - I have no idea?!

Did anyone watch Sugar Rush back in the mid 00s? It felt so grown up and really naughty. I used to watch it in my room with the volume on so low in case anyone heard! (I remember Sugar saying how her bf made her cum and I had absolutely no idea what that meant! 🤣)
However I watched a bit of it recently and found it so boring and badly acted! Maybe you have to be a teen to enjoy it!

Slightly pre 00s, more like 98/99 but gonna throw it in anyway since it's close enough....the Sunny Delight craze. Original 2 flavours were the Florida and California ones. I preferred California.

I was a Bliss and Sugar reader. Those were the days!

I’ve just started watching Secret Diary of a Call Girl on Netflix. Loving 2007 Billie Piper. Can’t believe I didn’t watch it when it was first out, I would have been old enough.

Have we talked about Embarrassing Bodies yet?

”I’m going to talk about how terrible my ailment is to camera for 10 minutes. How I can’t go out the house because of it or possibly tell anyone about it because it’s so awful…… and then I’m going to show it to the entire country.”
I’m sure it was on Embarrassing Bodies where a guy kept smelling poo and couldn’t work out why. It ended up being because he wasn’t wiping himself properly after shitting. Why would you allow that to go out on television?!
