Anyone remember bamboozle on teletext or even teletext in general? Feels like a different lifetime
I loved magazines too!!I really miss the magazines! I was a young adult in the early 00s and I was still really into the mags. They were still affordable and stll had content that was more than just 95% ads.
Sometimes I find myself craving to have decent adult versions of those magazines for now, that don't require me to remortage the house to purchase even one. The internet is just not as satisfying as print media.
You mentioning The Simpsons and Fresh Prince makes me think of BBC2 at 6PM in the early noughtiesAm I wrong in saying that the 2000s were way inferior to the 90s when it came to the family time slot tv shows?
Nothing replaced the star trek shows like next generation, voyager and deep space nine, the simpsons, the x-files and the fresh prince of bel air. Those were shows that kept you watching even if you caught single episodes.
To me the 90s was the golden decade of tv. But maybe I'm just biased to the decade of my childhood lol.
YES I loved these!Loved scoubidous! Some people made a proper business out of selling them at school, wish I was that entrepreneurial
Also scented gel pens - people always used to suck on them and the ink would get everywhere - why!
Ignition is such a great party tune.I remember playing R Kelly's "Ignition" over and over again on my Walkman
and also "One Step Closer" by S Club 8/Juniors.
Yep - flip phones. Phone cases. Snake game on Nokia 3310. Those ads in mags for ringtones where you texted in a code and got a song as a ringtone.
I bought a second hand phone back in the day which arrived with lots of pixilated p0rn in this styleI'd forgotten the logos. The songs are such a 2000 flashback!
I’m sure it was on Embarrassing Bodies where a guy kept smelling poo and couldn’t work out why. It ended up being because he wasn’t wiping himself properly after shitting. Why would you allow that to go out on television?!Have we talked about Embarrassing Bodies yet?
”I’m going to talk about how terrible my ailment is to camera for 10 minutes. How I can’t go out the house because of it or possibly tell anyone about it because it’s so awful…… and then I’m going to show it to the entire country.”
