CITV is stopping! How many of us grew up watching it.

I’m surprised it’s even still running to be fair. My kids and families kids etc all just watch YouTube/Netflix which is sad too. Used to love coming home from school and watching all the children’s tv programs, always remember watching zzzap on a Friday after school. Also loved the queens nose, rubbing the life outta every 50p I crossed hands with hoping I could make a wish also Bernard’s watch too!

Speaking of Simpsons we always watched it on sky one. We had sky from the very beginning, I remember my friends wanting to come round all the time because they just had “normal” tv. But a vivid memory I have is lying on the living room floor watching the simpsons, I was lying on my stomach and my brother came in and jumped on my back and winded me 🥹🥲 the joys of growing up in a house with boys. Battered to a pulp on the daily

I remember watching The Simpsons on BBC 2. The glory days of The Simpsons, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Robot Wars and Buffy the Vampire slayer. I’m old .

There was always a story of a tampon falling out of their bag in front of their crush who was usually the lushest lad in school . Looking back they were probably all made up by the magazine people.

Anyone remember these sherbert straws? Everyone was obsessed with them and they ended up being banned in my school because the playground was absolutely covered in empty ones Also fondly remember buying Fizzy Jerks and Toffos from the vending machine.

Yes! , I had a computer in my own room(from about 14) and absolutely no one checked what I did . I remember even having very explicit conversations with guys even though I think at that point I hadn't even ever kissed anyone

Who remembers using the "compose feature" on the Nokia and looking up the notes for particular songs online and meticulously tapping them in so you could have a theme tune for a song that no one else could have
