Only on page 4 so not sure if this has been discussed buy does anyone remember the teletext chat pages? You used to send a message via text and have conversations with random people? I once ran up a bill of over £300 on a contract Nokia 3310 my dad had got me by chatting pretty much 24/7 with strangers...Met one of them in real life when I was going through a particularly stupid phase and arranged a meet up..never went on it again after that.

All the drama of having to take a pic on a digital camera, upload that to your computer just to get a new profile pic. Using dial up and ya mam’s screaming at you for blocking the phone line. Those were the days!

or trawling through the family stash of photos taken on disposable cameras… to find a suitably cool one which could be scanned and uploaded
Finding a good profile picture was a long winded process!
