She’s damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. The poor lady has gone through hell lately. I got a cancer diagnosis last week and I’m telling you, all you care about in that moment is your children. You can clearly see the pain in her face, heart ache for her children.

She was already adored, but she is about to reach Diana levels of adoration and admiration. Can you imagine once she recovers and is eventually Queen. I think the people love Kate more than they do William. She is going to be such an icon and what better way to connect with people than to have gone through one of life’s toughest experiences. This is hard now, but she will overcome it and be more loved than ever before.

She clearly looked anxious, the way she was fidgeting with her fingers. She didn’t want to be there, she shouldn’t have to have done that just to satisfy some people who believe they’re owed her private information.
I hope she and her family are allowed some peace now. Both their mother and grandad with cancer, those poor kids!

Finally someone speaking some sense. I never realised how uneducated people are on bowel conditions. I have Ibd ulcerative colitis. I have been in flare for coming up to six month. I have lost a lot of weight, I've never been big. The steroids mean my face is round and puffy. I poop myself daily. Massive amounts of blood loss mean I'm anemic. The pain is off the scale. There are times where I scream it's so bad. I do belive PoW had had bowel surgery either bag or resection. I don't believe she is embarrassed I believe for her own health she wants to heal. Or she doesn't want the media, the next time she's out in public, zooming to see if they can see her bag. My ibd makes me not recognise myself anymore in anyway. It's a very difficult chronic illness to have. It effects everything. I now walk like a old lady thanks to the arthritis. Never leave the house. My hair has fallen out.I have found the whole thing fascinating - not so much the royal family themselves but the way the public has respondedit’s all very bizarre to me. Maybe I have a bit of a straight point of view on things.
I know a lot about bowel conditions due to being a carer of a young one with severe bowel needs. I would put money on it now that she has had some sort of bowel condition requiring a stoma whether it’s reversible / temp or not. I also don’t Believe it’s about being embarrassed as such but having a colostomy or illeostomy etc is life changing no matter who you are and how much money you have. Most people have to adapt and take time to get used to the idea and recover physically and emotionally.
the difference between say myself and Kate suddenly having one is that I don’t have to worry about social media making memes or sharing pictures commenting on the differences in my appearances. Most people would I think and hope be supportive of her but we also know there is a lot of people that wouldn’t. It’s a personal thing, it is not something people should be embarrassed about but poop isn’t something we discuss in general conversations etc so she probably having to prepare her self for the nation discussing her her bodily functions and a bag that holds her poop in. The PR has been bad I agree and all the speculation is probably not helping but in Kate’s mind a bunch of memes currently of false rumours will likely affect her less than those of something that is true and emotional for her right now. - false rumours are easier to handle than unkindness about something that is actually effecting you and you are sensitive about. The photoshop image she isn’t her right now and probably still looking different than usual and she won’t care about the 100s of other photo shopped pictures doing the rounds taking the pee more than she would with everything circling and pointing out her misperceptions in a body that she is feeling sensitive about right now.
if it is a stoma or something similar then I feel very sorry for her because if it is hard enough to go through without knowing the whole nation wanting to have its say.
I truly hope if she has ibd then people give her space. Because like with any autoimmune disease stress makes it much worse.

Absolutely this.
Last month I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 30. I have not yet started any treatment and today an appointment cancelled. She has a better chance than any other cancer sufferer right now. I hope this makes government etc look at the nhs and its resources.

I really do feel for her. I was diagnosed with incurable cancer in my twenties with two young children and having to navigate that with them over the last few years has been difficult. For them knowing their mummy is sick and for me knowing that my life expectancy isn't long and they are going to grow up without me. I can't imagine facing such news with all the public scrutiny too. I hope Kate has a smooth chemo journey.

Usually I’d agree with you that all the reliable source stories aren’t true, but I was told by a very reliable source that Kate got Disney dreamlight valley for Christmas and she’s taking three months off to play it and didn’t want to tell the public that so they made up a medical issue.

Poor william, his father, his wife, he has no relationship with his brother. I hope all those bad mouthing him feel bad!! He is only human at the end of the day and probably going through the worse time of his life since his mother's passing.

TBF in my experiences once cancer is diagnosed you are treated as promptly as possible whoever you are. You don’t get stuck on a waiting list for cancer treatment at all. I don’t get all this nastiness about how quickly or how good the treatment for the POW is. She is a 42 year old mother of 3 young children having chemotherapy who is probably terrified she’s going to die and leave them motherless, something her husband knows all about. Cancer doesn’t care how much money you have or how important you are and it’s the same for the RF. Some peoples comments on here are disgusting TBH, it’s one thing bashing how someone looks, what they wear, how much money they spend, even the photoshopping of pictures but anyone who feels the need to bash a woman diagnosed with cancer is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
"other people deserve more sympathy than Kate" is very grim. How about everyone going through a difficult time deserves sympathy. It's not a competition.
Yes she's getting the best healthcare you can get in the UK. But she's facing this very publicly with lots of extra difficulties. It's a mixed bag and certainly not an easy ride. The 3 people at a hospital suspended must be a concern, especially with what happened with the nurse that was fooled into talking to a radio show.

I don't think anyone should feel guilty, or more to the point I don't think anyone on a gossip site has the right to be pontifical and patronising to those who speculated and shared memes.

*Biggest myth - camera adds pounds. Not true. I met Cate Blanchett and Mila Kunis. They are slim on TV but look emaciated and tiny in real life. The height is distorted as well. I was honestly shocked*

Ok, I can't believe I'm saying this, because I'm always Occam's Razor (in this case, she's had surgery, feels shit and is indoors until she feels ready)... but that isn't her. I saw the picture before I saw the headline and didn't even clock that it was supposed to be William and Kate. That is how much it doesn't look like her. I can't even tell if it's Will, under the hat. I would never ever have thought that anyone would go to the bother of doing a fake pap-walk with look alikes, but if they have, that doesn't have to make it a big conspiracy. It could be nothing to do with KP, just a couple of lookalikes doing it for a joke, or someone making a fake video to get clicks online and make money.
Of course I'll eat my words if it turns out it really is them, but... I'm not a crazy person who believes outlandish things on the net, I'm literally just looking at that picture and seeing a woman who isn't Catherine (next to a man whose face I can't see).
